REVIEW:
Allow me to preface this review by saying the only nice things; the location and the hotel staff were nice and adequate. However, for the price, amenities, and condition of the room and property, I would have chosen an alternate hotel. I opted for an upgraded room as well, so one would think that made things better, wrong. The room appeared unclean and unkept. The walls, baseboards, fixtures, etc. were filthy. The toilet basically ran after flushing continuously, and the handle itself was not fully operational, resulting in having to call the front office to address the issue and have maintenance personnel fix it, which they didn't. They said they would have someone address this issue after my stay. Unacceptable and likely did not happen. The toilet was also streaked and obviously not cleaned between guests. Revolting and unsanitary, to say the least! I also had to use my own phone to call the front desk because the room did not include one. The curtains were ripped, tattered, and tarnished. The miniature refrigerator that was included was not plugged in or operating. The coffee machine appeared dirty or not properly cleaned between uses or times of non utilization. The floors were dirty with smudging and appeared unmopped. On the outside of the bathroom door, there was a large, fist-sized hole that was only seen when the door was closed, thus leading to my concerns of proper sanitation not occurring.
