10/10 Exceptional

Easy check in
Paul, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

At this price tag, I think it is okay.
Shuang, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

If you are after the cheapest room in Melbourne City, then this is the hostel for you. The single room was basic, but fine for the price. Very convenient with a tram outside on Elizabeth St. The kitchen, toilets and bathrooms were filthy, so wear shoes inside these areas.
Nathan, 3-night trip

2/10 Poor

Curtains broken, smelled of stale cigarettes, near broken lock on room door. Generally gross and disgusting apart from the bathrooms which were clean. Do not stay here, mostly booked for longterm for homeless people. Recent bedbugs in reviews I wouldn't risk it.
1-night trip

4/10 Fair

While I knew this was a very cheap option, my stay would have been a lot better if the place wasn’t filled with cigarette smoke - the smell of cigarettes and weed was so strong in the room it woke me up, I’m an ex smoker myself so don’t have an issue with smoke, but it was so strong and there weren’t any windows to open to air it out - plus there was a guy in one of the rooms just shouting all night. Appreciate it’s a cheap option, which the room reflects that but the smoke was too much
Natasha, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Hostel location is easy to access in city center. Staff are friendly.

6/10 Good

Good location for I wanted. Nothing fancy basic. Have stayed there in the past. Would stay there again.
CLYDE, 1-night trip

liked -close to the markets, disliked -horrible double mattress.
Amalie, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

This was a very cheap hostel in a great location. You definitely get what you pay for but I’d definitely come here again if I was on a budget.
Fletcher, 6-night trip

Hiroshi, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Craig, 4-night trip

8/10 Very good

Goncalo, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Paul, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The hostel is clean. The staff are friendly. It locates in the heart of Melbourne city.
Anh Chuong, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

Would not let me and had to sleep on the street because they would not accept an online drivers license. We quite rude about it. Feels like they were going to book out the room again
John, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

the property was very bad and rooms were very dirty. no lift.
Nanthagopal, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Very crowded and dirty, even by Hostel standards. Cheap and affordable for a quick overnight stay though.
Jack, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

No air conditioning, no wifi, unsafe environment. Linen and towels are very old and smelly. The building is old and broken. The staffs are all very unprofessional and poor English. Only good thing about the place is walking distance to tram and queen Victoria market.
Kim, 4-night trip

6/10 Good

It was ok
Colin, 4-night trip

2/10 Poor

a nightmare

Please read google reviews and don't make the same mistake that i did. Booked for two weeks, the place was a living nightmare full of dangerous people. I tried to get a refund, but i wasn't able to because of the hostel's policy.
erika, 13-night trip

4/10 Fair

For God’s sakes read online reviews before booking, this was a mistake I made. IT IS NOT WORTH IT even if you’re pinching pennies, immediately left after one night and moved to a different hostel, and BE WARNED, NO AIRCONDTIONING or even a fan so it was hotter than hell during my stay. The window was open so you could hear all of the traffic and shouting outside.
Andrey, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

I wasn't feeling safe all the time. My room was ok, carpet might need deep cleaning. Toilets weren't cleaned daily, I think only once during my stay (4days). Beddings were hung on the corridors, where they got quite bad smell. No air conditioner, only a fan, I was a bit hot. Fridge was a great bonus! Remember to ask for cutlery and a bowl from the desk.
Mari, 4-night trip

4/10 Fair

Toilets unclean, nil appropriate disposal options for sanitary products, dodgy doors to rooms and loud guests at all hours. Ok for one night, but wouldn’t recommend for anything longer! Reception staff were all pleasant!
