I was surprised after reading the reviews and seeing that this establishment has a 9.0 rating. The front desk staff upon check in announced our name, what floor and room number with other patrons being in the lobby, what?? This is a security risk, when asking questions throughout they stay they acted put out like they shouldn’t be bothered. When asked about different pillows they were even unwilling to go and look, we had to ask what timeframe breakfast was served. We informed the front desk of trash being in the elevator one morning before breakfast and it was not cleaned up until early afternoon, the curtains and shades in our room were dirty, the sink in the bathroom drained terribly slow so don’t leave the water on long, the lights in the bathroom were rusted, thankfully no bed bugs but the mattress was terrible and it felt like you sank to the bottom and we rolled to the middle no support, then upon checkout more trash found in the hallway. Not to mention how hot the hallways are. And breakfast, let’s just say it can barely pass for breakfast, we opted to eat out after the first morning. And where’s the manager? Your guess is as good as ours. Generally we feel when traveling that we can trust the reviews on hotels.com, this one left us stunned. I am including pics so you can see this is an honest review by disappointed customers, we expected better. We were celebrating our 35th anniversary and just don’t want anyone else trip to be a disappointment.
