day of arrival the pool was emptied to be cleaned and was closed the following day. Causing us to have a morning with no water and the entire trip had no warm water for showering, it was cold showers all week. There was ants and fleas in our room not on beds but in drawers and counters. The food was okay but the a la carte restaurants are closed on Tuesday and Thursday so you have to eat at the buffet those nights. The app has a schedule of events but it is not accurate. We purchased a couples package and didn’t receive half the things promised. We were supposed to have a variety of classes which were open to everyone and not private and we didnt even get to go to them all. We were promised a private dj class per a package we booked. We were told a time to meet the DJ. When that time came around it didnt exist, no one knew what we were talking about. The viva club team brought a great experience to the vacation with games and contests. However they could use more variety of games/contests but overall they made the trip worth our time and kept us busy despite all the hotel/expedia inconveniences. The hotel claims all the inconveniences are due to issues with Expedia and were hesitant to supply us with an email stating we did not receive the services paid for. Over all the only compensation we received was a bottle of champagne, despite a day with no pool, a day with no running water, days without warm water, restaurants closed half the time and our package being incorrect.
