Rolled the dice on this place, as we are not from the area, and it was the right choice! Stopped for the night, pub was nice with good beer and food. Room was adequate, and clean. Breakfast was great in the restaurant the next morning, and we were off. Will stay in the future if we are passing through!

Basic clean accommodations

An old log built hotel modified to a motel. Clean and basic - the rooms were clearly modelled by the local handyman. Sheets, towels and the room were very clean. The deadbolt on the door didn't work but nobody was going to bother an old guy. If you're a woman, not so great. Bar and food were run of the mill and convenient after a day of driving

The lodge is full of history and character. We love staying there. Very comfortable and clean and staff are awesome. It’s convenient and has loads of parking if you’re pulling a trailer. The after hours phone line was not working and that could have posed a problem. But they were rvery receptive to the information about that. We love the place. Food is great too!

The hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating. The room was dated but very clean and the bed was comfortable. The restaurant food was fantastic - large portions and very tasty! Overall a great option to break up a long drive!

We have always wanted to stay at this facility. We were not disappointed. Reception was friendly. Service regarding the TV was quick and kind. The restaurant was great and the food was good.
