Location: Located in Tsim Sha Tsui, almost like the centre of Hong Kong, so it is convenient to travel anywhere. also close to MTR station.
Environment: knowing that it is located in Chunking Mansions, and reading the comment here, I already have the expectation that it is going to be quite chaotic. Every time you go in and out of the mansion, you will be surrounded by numerous Indian men trying to get you to buy their stuff, which sure would make any girl feel uncomfortable and insecure. If you are a petite girl travelling alone, I suggest you stay elsewhere. And prepare to spend at least half an hour everyday waiting for the lift to get to your room.
Hotel: The room is small as expected, not to complain as this is Hong Kong. But I expected a clean and comfortable room and the room I got was nothing like that. The air-conditioner was not working. We even took out the filters to clean them ourselves and still it was not working. We stayed for three nights. We told the staff about the conditioner on the second night. He said he would cater to it but it was until the next morning when we went out that another staff said we can change the room if we are not satisfied with the original (so they know the conditioner can't be fixed?). Finally the third night we got a room with some air after suffocating for the first two nights. One of the pillow cases was full of fluff. The main staff was quite helpful though. Guess it is one of the better hotels located in Chunking Mansions.
