This hotel is a great find. Clean. Great breakfast. Super staff. The rooms are very attractive and mine had a working fireplace. They learned I was a birder and put me in touch with a local author of the Tapalpa bird guide.

We had a delightful stay, the hotel caters to all your romantic needs. Firewood for fireplace daily,nespresso machine for great espresso coffe, amazing breakfast options by Alfonso and all is included in the price. Great excursion options to see.

We loved this small hotel. Each room is individually decorated and unique. The breakfast was simple but wonderful and set us up for a day of exploring. The staff was attentive; we lacked for nothing. We found the bed a bit uncomfortable, too hard for our taste, but we managed. They brought us ice and stem wine glasses on request. We will definitely stay again.

The hotel is very nice however value for the price is not there. We were one of two guests total which should indicate to management that maybe price is too high. Property is farther from centro but is literally only hotel allowing dogs for an extra cost. The staff was really great and included breakfast was amazing.

The people on the back of the La casona has a rooster so he starts making this noise since 2:00 am till 12:00 pm so don’t let you sleep at all they give you something for your ears so you can not hear anything but still hear 😏

Aún hay más pero ya no hubo espacio

Bueno esta es la versión resumida: Llegamos al hotel y una persona ajena a recepción nos dió la llave de la habitación, la seguimos y nos instalamos. Al salir más tarde dejamos la llave con otra persona que estaba trabajando ahí, fue a la recepción y nos recibió la llave. Posteriormente al regresar al hotel al caer la tarde, no había nadie en el hotel, después de un rato considerable, llegó una persona del exterior, que dijo que no trabajaba ahí y que era amigo del dueño y nos facilitó la llave, no sin cerciorarse que la habitación era la de nosotros porque le dijimos que ahí teníamos nuestras maletas. Le pedí que si podía guardar mi auto en el estacionamiento y no encontró la llave, le dije que no había problema y dejé el auto fuera. El hotel es de descanso y no requeríamos más atención. Al día siguiente por la mañana, para bañarme, abrí la llave del agua caliente, después de unos instantes de haber salido el agua, se detuvo, se acabó, bajó mi esposa a la recepción y no había nadie, después de unos 15 minutos, hacia las 8:00 AM llegaron dos personas, una chica del restaurante y un varón, quién acudió al cuarto y abrió la llave nuevamente y salió un poco, se detuvo nuevamente el agua, volvió a abrir y cerrar, volvió a salir el agua y esta vez ya no cesó, por fortuna. Más tarde en el desayuno, llegó una dama, quien se presentó como la recepcionista y nos pidió una disculpa, en compensación, ofreció cambiar la habitación por otra de mayor costo y una noche adicional,
