Located in a convenient area. The room was an adequate size. Be aware that the hotel charges 20€ per night extra for a crib. They also charge 20€ per night for parking. Breakfast is 15€ per adult and 8€ children.

Property was good but not many amenities

My experience there was tainted because of an unprofessional and unfriendly clerk. Really, really bad experience. The building is run down, and the rooms are not well-kept. Some of the stains on the rug were really bad, the bathrooms smelled bad and the temperature of the water on the showers was impossible to regulate. I am sorry to provide a negative review but it was not worth the money - plus the advertisement in Expedia says that you pay what you see, but once I got there the city tax was added. If there is something positive, I can say that the breakfast (15 more euros) was ok, and the location too (but there were other cheaper and better hotels in this neighborhood too).

Excellent value for the price we paid

The hotel is located in a very nice area, with a supermarket on the first floor. I read some reviews about the carpet not being cleaned. And that is true, that carpet needs a cleaning ASAP. But I won't give this hotel 4 or 3 stars because, for the money I paid, I got a very fair value. And I am sure the management will take note of the carpet when they will read this review. However, since the hotel was not full, we got upgraded to a bigger room, with a couch on it, so I would like to thank the staff for that. We will return to that hotel when in Berlin.

Wir haben nochmal bezahlt, versteckte Kosten . Wenn man in Expedia zahlt , muss man dort nochmal für Steuer in Berlin und so bezahlen . Das war erstmal dass ich sowas gehört habe obwohl dass ich vorher auch in Berlin war .

An sich eine gute Unterkunft für ein Wochenende. Zimmer sehr klein, in der Nacht teilweise sehr unruhig. Frühstück war gut. Sehr gute Anbindung an Bus und Bahn.

Nice basic in Schöneberg

Very nice little old skool style hotel in peaceful city area pretty close by few U-bahn stations. Spacious room, friendly crew, Penny market shop same building corner and possibility to get early check-in & late check-out for some 10€€'s are all big plus. Fridge, tv, wifi & work desk in the room worked well but bed & shower needed upgrade.

Das Hotel ist ordentlich aber einfach. Unser Zimmer in der 2. Etage (Familienzimmer) war sauber, geräumig und ausreichend für 4 Personen. Das Zimmer war innerhalb des Hauses eher ruhig. Geräusche von draußen waren bei geschlossenen Fenstern abgedämpft. Das Bad ist einfach, ohne Fenster, mit Dusche und Lüftung. Es gibt Seife, Duschgel/Shampoo und natürlich Handtücher. Der Frühstücksraum hat was von Kantine, ist zweckmäßig ausgestattet und das Buffet hat eine standardmäßige Auswahl an Speißen und Getränken auf einfachem Niveau. Die Lage ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen. Die Umgebung ist ausgestattet mit Supermärkten, Restaurants und kleinen Geschäften. In unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es Anschluß an den ÖPNV. Einiziges MANKO bei unserem Aufenthalt: Das Nichtraucher Hotel hat einen Raucherbereich, der sich auf der Aussentreppe/Fluchtbereich auf jeder Etage befindet. Dieser war nur leider direkt vor unserer Terrasse/Fenster und unser Zimmer roch bei Ankunft sehr nach Rauch. Die Sitzmöbel direkt vor unserem Fenster wurden von den Gästen und dem Personal genutzt und so war auch die Privatsphäre etwas eingeschränkt. Lüften konnten wir nur am Abend und wenn niemand rauchte. Nach 23Uhr mussten wir andere Gäste bitten leiser zu sein. Nach Beschwerde an der Rezeption wurde unserem Anliegen nachgegangen und etwas besser. Das Reinigungspersonal war nicht freundlich aber an der Rezeption. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war völlig angemessen.

Zimmer direkt gegenüber der Rezeption. Zwischen Tür und Zarge Spalt, so dass man jegliche Betriebsamkeit auf dem Flur mitbekommt. Kein entspanntes schlafen möglich. Da zwischen Zimmerflur und Zimmer keine Tür ist und auch die Badtür einfachste Ausführung ist, hört man die ganze Zeit ein unterschwellige Rauschen von der Lüftung. Bett war frisch bezogen. Matratzen waren auch ok. Tiefgarage hat eine sehr enge Einfahrt. 20Euro pro Nacht ziemlich teuer. Für Transporter keine Chance. Innenhof war schon voll. Sehenswertes in der Umgebung - 2 Supermärkte und eine Tankstelle.

It is not as expected

The hotel does not look as on the pictures. The building is old and it needs renovation. The carpets are old and needs replacement. Especially halls seems not very clean. The hotel management is not very supportive. The heating is woring well. The garage is the advantage of the hotel.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable, lumpy pillows. Very old and warn out carpet in the room. There was no outside access directly from the room as it seemed from the booking but it was at the end of the hall. To access the hotel at check in nobody responded to the bell and we got in only when a person left so the door was opened, then we waited about 5 minutes for someone to appear at the reception desk. It could have been a one off, but as a first impression, it wasn't great. The location is great, we didn't get the breakfast so can't comment on that.
