Lovely one night stay, we were upgraded to a four poster room which was dog friendly! A fine and grand building with fabulous views all round.

Lovely apartment

The apartment was separate from the main hotel and was lovely. It had been beautifully and tastefully decorated and was spotlessly clean. There were fantastic views of the coastline and Tintagel Castle. My only bugbear was that we arrived quite late on the Sunday (my birthday!) and ordered two roast beef dinners. Unfortunately, these meals were not cheap and were very disappointing as they were not freshly cooked and were akin to a microwave roast beef dinner.

Live as a King at Camelot

Beautiful, classic

I am amazed how the staff knew my room number, and wow! Staying at a hotel that looks like a castle is a treat. I loved my ocean view room. It put me at ease so I can do my work. And I love all the artwork and crystals around the hotel! I felt like an old time celebrity staying here.

Fabulous Castle Hotel

Loved staying at this old hotel. It was absolutely beautiful! Small room but to be expected. Modern convenience with claw/ shower!! Our window looked out on the Tintagel Castle ruins! We stayed two nights while exploring the area. Food was wonderful and you could get continental breakfast to go .

Castle CamelNOT

An awesome castle (though modern) in an amazing setting. Unfortunately, that's all the redeeming points. The standard double room is small, pokey and outdated. The widows didn't open but leaked (windy). The ensuite was nothing more than a small cupboard.

2 days at Camelo Castle Hotel

I stayed at Camelot Hotel for 2 days. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the views were absolutely magnificent, unique and truly memorable. The outdoor areas of the hotel are gorgeous, and the surrounding landscape is breathtaking. However, there were several issues that affected my stay. The toilets were of poor quality, resembling a plastic cabin more suited to yachts, which did not match the otherwise elegant design of the room. I had a private small balcony, but unfortunately could not use it, as it was directly connected to my neighbour’s window. Out of respect for their privacy and dignity, I chose not to sit outside. The pillows were very uncomfortable, and I could not sleep the first night. Additionally, the TV was not operating, and although there was a video option available, it also did not function. Overall, while the exterior and location of the hotel are truly impressive, these drawbacks made my experience less enjoyable, and I would not choose to stay here again.

The property is not well represented in the description. The views are amazing but the ocean view may need to be reclassified as "you can almost see the ocean from your room"; during our stay it was very noisy, with poor Internet (when available) and the staff were incredibly rude. We did not like it so we left a day in advance, asking for a refund for the last night of our stay. They refused to do that and then refused to take calls or discuss with Orbitz. It was not a good experience, I would not recommend this hotel, even though the description and location make it seem appealing. I bet other hotels/inns/b&b in the areawould be much more friendly.

Gorgeous hotel

The staff were very good, room was excellent. Was let down by breakfast on day 2, the restaurant was full despite taking bookings for what time, and they forgot about my food, probably because I was in the great hall on my own.

En kul grej att sova på "Camelot" även om det inte är ett riktigt slott utan byggt som hotell, och inte har någon som helst relation med sagan om Arthur att göra 😊 Vi fick ett större rum ön vad vi hade bokat, precis ovanför stora salen med utsikt över havet och Tintagel. Gamla fina möbler, stor skön himmelssäng, soffa samt bord och stolar och gott om plats. Det trista var väl toaletten/duschutrymmet som bestod av en plastkur som är installerad i rummet långt senare än när det byggdes. Den var trång och väldigt plastig och drog ner känslan av gammal lyx. Har flera gånger bott på hotell, eller före detta pensionat, där toaletterna är inbyggda efteråt men på ett bättre sätt än här. För övrigt är det ett fantastiskt hus, men en otroligt trevlig personal! Vackra rum och utrymmen och inom gångavstånd till byn med butiker och restauranger samt till Tintagel (som i sig själv inte var vad vi hade tänkt oss, men det är en annan historia 😊). Parkering finns utanför som är hotellets egna. Kan absolut tänka mig att sova där igen ifall vi nånsin kommer åt det hållet igen. Väl värt ett besök!
