Almost great
Beautiful resort. Really nice and friendly people. Least all-inclusive all-inclusive resort I’ve been to. Too many items in each menu that are not included in the all-inclusive plan. Like lots of them. Stayed in the Oceanside penthouse, and it was literally the best hotel room I’ve ever had. So spacious and nice. Would have been perfect for 3 couples, but was wonderful for our family of 4 as well. Butler service was not helpful. They were very kind, though. All service people were friendly and great. Had a large mouse in our garbage can in the kitchen. Not ideal. Wanted to have us attend a time-share sales meeting there. Tried to get us to book it when we were checking in. Not ideal way to start our stay. Overall, it was a beautiful resort with nice people. Not great value when you consider the exclusions on the menu (including alcohol exclusions too) and lack of quality butler service. Considering these things, I’d hesitate to stay at a Tafer resort again.

The property felt safe, but the shops available weren’t very impressive. Its distance from town made it a place where you’d mostly want to stay at the hotel. While the food was delicious, there could have been more options given how far town was. For the price, the cleanliness was disappointing. However, the staff were very nice and friendly.

The panoramic suite is AMAAAAZING!! Bonnie at the concierge is extremely lovely and helpful. The property is beautiful! Being so close to Los Arcos is incredible with November to January being the best months. Two warnings: 1. The beach is small is very very rocky. Bring water shoes with a hard bottom. 2. The hotel says tipping is included but every bill they expect further tipping AND when you check your final bill they don’t match. Be careful!

Great resort but definitely short staffed. Check in was a nightmare with rooms canceled due to a computer issue. We were part of a wedding party of 150 guests so this was a huge deal for many of us. Room service world quote 30 minutes for delivery and on one occasion took an hour and a half! I’d prefer a true time so I can decide if I want to order or not. The staff tried their best but were handicapped due to hotels lack of staffing.

On our arrival we were told we owed $930 because two of our children were registered as such thru Expedia but by their standards are adults. The hotel blamed Expedia, Expedia blamed the hotel. Both sides agreed we had appropriately disclosed our children's ages and we were not at fault but nobody was willing to fix the situation. they did agree to a smaller fee of $525 but it was obvious extortion, as we had already arrived on site and could not exactly find a new hotel during such a busy time. We also found it very difficult to find our room-signage and room numbering are incredibly confusing, and we were not offered assistance to our room nor was staff anywhere to be found when we reached our building. We will absolutely never stay here again and would not recommend that anyone with teens stay here either.

We stayed in late September 2024, the resort was quiet, relaxing, and beautiful. The food was amazing at every restauran,t best food at an all inclusive style resort we have been to. The staff was super friendly and great all around. Would come back again for sure.

Although not the hotels fault we were almost two days let. Stuck in mid travel. The hotel did nothing for us though and once we arrived offered nothing. Then after traveling for days it took an hour and a half to get our bags after I called and asked for the third time where our luggage was. My family had checked in earlier and received a drink and a staff member took them to their room and showed them around. We received none of this. We had to find it on our own and then wait for the bags. No wine left in our room either which we were supposed to have. Most staff and the concierge area (especially the ladies) were rude. All other staff though were great. Room cleanliness was ok. A couple times we almost fell coming into our room though because the floors were so wet. Not safe! Overall the food was just ok. Drinks just ok. Was hoping for a great margarita. But no. Overall though because of the property and beach access and convenience once there it was an ok place to be.

Excellent service, beautiful location, room service and housekeeping was great. Very clean rooms and property. The trolly made visiting the other hotels and restaurants easy and fun.

We paid for a relax vacation but the check in was a disaster. The room was not ready as advertised. Even we paid for inclusive package the Verto Vallarta resort clerk did not give us the voucher while waiting for our room. The resort has limited night entertainment roof top bar not too lively :-( on this trip. Recommended to check other options...

Nice and lovely but so boring. Swimming pools closed at 6pm and nothing else to do besides hang out at the pools. Roof top has no entertainment and the Bars closed early . I dont think i will be coming back. The check in service was the worst, The two people who helped us did not know what they were doing. They took our credit card for deposit and instead of giving us the bracelet and room to finish the whole process, they told us to wait until they finished with 6 others couples before they got to us. We asked them why they took so long because our check in time is 4pm and We got there at almost 5pm hungry and tired. Atleast give us our bracelet so we could go eat and wait for them to finish. After 15 minutes of asking back and forth, they finally gave everyone their bracelets and room number 😡.
