The room was NOTHING like the picture advertised on hotels.com and the “upgraded” room that the app states was “ocean view” looked directly into the window of the building next to it. No safe or refrigerator. First and last time. Definitely a miss for the amount of money I spent.

Room was not an ocean view we booked, it was a pool view. Rooms were dirty, have not been maintained. All the molding was filthy, chipped and cracked. Floors were dirty and chipped. No phone in rooms house keeping was ok at best, had to ask for face towels several times. The pool was extremely cloudy and you couldn’t see the bottom, no one worked on it for days. Once they did it took several days to get almost clear only to have it clouded again. TV didn’t work, coffee maker didn’t have any filters and neither did the resort or any local store. Had I read any of the reviews I found once we arrived I wouldn’t have booked this property. The pictures of the resort must have been taken when it was brand new, everything about the hotel is old, outdated and not maintained.

The staff was very nice and the location is convenient. my room was spacious. But the toilet did not work properly, there was a big roach when I woke up, there was no toilet paper holder, the AC in one of my two rooms was running but did not cool down the room, and the hotel is overall run down.

No me volvería a hospedar en este hotel, ni gratis. El personal tiene pésima actitud y cero resolutivo. Reservé un cuarto con cama king, me dieron un cuarto con cama matrimonial. Pregunté en Recepción y me dijeron que no podían hacer nada porque "el hotel estaba lleno" (claramente no era así, había poca ocupación). La pantalla en la recámara no funcionó desde que entré al cuarto. Cuando lo reporté nadie hizo nada, nadie iba al cuarto a revisar. Cuando por fin alguien fue (después de 3 veces que tuve que bajar a Recepción a reportar el problema), la persona dijo que la pantalla en efecto estaba descompuesta (big news) y que alguien llegaría "en 20 minutos" a colocar una nueva. Spoiler: Nunca llegó nadie a cambiar nada. Terminó mi estancia y nunca resolvieron nada. Este "hotel" es en realidad un MOTEL de baja calidad, en una buena ubicación. No recomiendo quedarse aquí si realmente les interesa una buena experiencia de hospedaje.

The sea view was not as described & pictured publicly. That was upsetting walking in. The Sea view is part of the experience. No phone in room to reach the front desk. At front desk, we constantly complained about basic needs. No chair in the room next to the desk. (got much later). The damaged desk was appalling to see. Every day, AND several times a day, complained about the lack of different types of towels, toilet paper, shampoo. On the first couple of days, did not even change the pillowcases. Rarely was the floor cleaned, upsetting. Shower curtain rack was weak and fell. Took a day to fix. Then suddenly the towel bar disappears! Who would take a towel bar? Several complaints & days later, had to force them to put one on again. The Wi-Fi was horrible. The amount of time we spent complaining at the front desk about these & other things, took time and energy away from the trip. This was the most disheartening. And soured our view of beautiful PV. Customer service was the worst in the world. Every single customer service rep was beneath any standards of care. Salvador was good at pretending to help you. A smooth talker. Only with constant nagging, did he do the basic things we asked. Enrique was asked to do basic things, several times. Nothing. We just saw him eating at the desk. Aldo did not do anything we asked & also Victor & Rebeca. Only Francisco delivered good customer service. But, he is the Security Guard! Execs don’t care. PV regulars were shocked about all this!

Had a good stay. No frills hotel but was comfortable and glad they provided shampoo and body wash. Aldo at the front desk was very helpful although the rest of the staff wasn’t as friendly as him. I love that they are so close to the beach. The blue chairs umbrellas beach wait staff was nice and friendly and the drinks (mojitos, pina coladas, blended margaritas) were all well-made and tasty, but you need to make a reservation the day before if you want seats closer to the water. I scheduled a professional massage with Lucas who did a great job and has awesome technique and well worth the cost. I’ve stayed here before and would stay again for its location and cost. Glad they are mostly LGBTQ+ but I did see a lot of other couples as well.

I do have to say our maid, Kimberly did a FANTASTIC job with our room. We were here for 2 weeks and she didn't skip a beat. I was surprised the hotel was not more accommodating, friendly and helpful. Our AC unit in our bedroom was not working and we asked numerous times for them to fix it and they never did. For us paying for the "penthouse suit" for two weeks, I would have thought they would have been more helpful. We asked for a late check out because our flight left at 5 pm and they would not give me an answer. The restaurant that is apart of their hotel had amazing waiters with the exception of one of them. We asked about getting a chair by the ocean and were told no because they had high priority people to take care of. We went down to the Tropicana where Alexis was the THE BEST!!
