Au départ, passer par là était une étape entre St John's et Bonavista. Mais nous n'avons pas regretté d'y passer un peu de temps pour visiter la péninsule de Bacalieu et quelques jolis lieux.

Easy check-in. Owners were welcoming and helpful. They gave us many suggestions for hiking and things to see and do on the eastern side of the island and gave us an understanding of Newfoundland history. Breakfast had some fabulous choices and always cooked to our specifications. The home is a historic site and, as such, has windows that do not close out the road noise but that is easily forgotten with an earplug or the white noise of a fan. Would highly recommend.

It was a beautiful heritage house with great character. Greg and Lorraine were perfect hosts sharing stories about the area and Newfoundland history. Breakfast was very good and they even made a special dinner with local ingredients that was outstanding. The beds were super comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

The Spaniards “Room” Heritage Home Spaniard's Bay was a treat to visit. Lovely hosts and the accommodations were very comfortable. An excellent breakfast was served in the morning. It's a 'team effort' to create this welcoming atmosphere and if you're looking for good people with an ability to make you welcome ... this is the place to go.

This is our second stay at the B&B. The hosts are very friendly, the house is quaint with well appointed and comfortable rooms. Air conditioning is provided in each room which is great. Breakfast is certainly a plus of your choice of a full cooked breakfast. We each had the eggs, bacon, toast juice coffee/tea option. Fantastic meal. The homemade jams are great. Not a bad price at all including the full breakfast served. Conversation with the others at the table is nice as well. We highly recommend the Spaniard's Room Heritage Home for anyone looking for accommodations.
