We stayed for one night on our way to bring my son back up to Seattle for college. Our priorities were pet friendly, easy in/out with bicycles, and close proximity to downtown, because we prefer to eat at final draft every time we stay in Redding :). This is the first time we’ve traveled with a cat; my son brought one of our cats back up to be his companion this year. This was a really easy stay. Check-in was easy, we got a first floor room. Our room was clean, and easy to navigate with a cat. It was quiet and we were able to park almost in front of it, making transport of bikes and cat into the room super simple. Beds were OK/not great. Plumbing/fixtures were just fine. It would’ve been nice to have breakfast, but there’s a Starbucks quite nearby, and the price point for this hotel meant that that was not a dealbreaker for me. They do not charge for the first pet, which was very nice. There was a lovely looking pool, which we did not have time to use. Overall, we would stay here again, especially with pets. No loudness, no problems, just a quiet night and close proximity to our favorite restaurant.
