Bank Holiday weekend
We had such a fantastic stay this weekend, perfect location. The hosts are simply wonderful, lovely little pub, great atmosphere and the meals are sooo good, including breakfast which were insanely good! We'll definitely be back and will recommend The George for our friends and family to stay!

Excellent! Value for money!
From arrival the staff were friendly and helpful, asked if we wanted help with our bags, took breakfast order night before which meant when we went for breakfast there was no waoting around, the breakfast itself was lovely! Room was in keeping with the local aesthetic, but modern and well kept. Can't fault the place at all!

Good value inn in village setting
We had an overnight stay at The George on our way home from holiday and it was ideally located just off the M6. The owners and staff are very welcoming and friendly and we had a very nice evening meal and an excellent breakfast. The room was a little old fashioned, but was clean and comfortable.

for the price this was excellent value. the room was simple, spotless and exactly met me needs for stopover between south wales and dundee.. The bed was really firm and very comfortable. Staff really and welcome friendly, food standard pub grub served with a smile. breakfast very nicely done and my being veggie not a problem. i plan to stay there again as i make this trip regualrly

Excellent value for money. Pleasant, helpful hosts
Solo overnight stay. Nice welcome by hosts after a long journey. Room was big and airy, bed very comfortable. Evening meal and breakfast were lovely. There is an attached beer garden and the breeze in the evening was most appreciated,especially after the long hot journey. Felt comfortable throughout my stay Hope to book again on my return trip back to Scotland.

Charming accommodations above the pub in the tiny village of Orton. Very scenic English farming community. Room was clean and spacious. Easy to access off M6 but felt very remote. Owners were very gracious and welcoming.

We loved our one short night here
The inn keepers were so great. So kind and accommodating. The breakfast was 5 ⭐️. The location was wonderful out in the country and quiet. It’s an older hotel which is part of its appeal. Rooms are comfortable and they had great pillows.

We LOVED our stay here! The owners were friendly, the place was in a beautiful area! The room was comfortable, clean, quiet! It was truly perfect! Dinner and breakfast were fantastic! If we are ever in this area again, we will be back!
