Everything you read in the low review comments turned out to be true. Check in process was not great. There was a huge line in front of the checkin machine. All the tourists were frustrated. You can call or send a WhatsApp messages but it's really up to the hotel staff probably working from home remotely to respond. They gave me a room very far inside the building where I could not even get a phone reception. WiFi wasn't working either. I messaged them but got ignored. I gave up. After all, it was my fault for choosing a cheap hostal. The building and my room smelled off so I wanted to get a fresh air so I opened the window and boom just cockroaches. It was really uncomfortable throughout my stay. That being said, the location is great. I was able to walk to all the popular places. I felt safe in the area as well. Good thing about staying this hotel was that it was so gross that it forced me to stay outside and explore Madrid as much as I can as opposed to stay inside the hotel.

Erittäin kamala huone. Epäsiistiä. Onneksi lakanat oli sentään puhtaat. Wc papari oli pöntön takana joten istualtaan siihen ei ylettänyt. Suihkussa ei mahtunut pesemään itseään. Alakerrassa oli disco joten onneksi korvatulpat oli matkassa. Seinät oli paperia. Sisäänkirjautuminen oli itsepalveluautomaatilla todella hankalaa ja ohjeet olivat siihen todella huonot. Oli pakko soittaa tukipalveluun.

Es un barrio muy ruidoso, actualmente poca accesibilidad por trabajos de calle, sistema check-in poco claro e ingreso dificultoso, teléfono de contacto no funciona para extranjeros, tuve que solicitar ayuda a través de contacto en España. Tarjeta para ingresar al dormitorio estaba mala y puerta entrada al sector no abría con la clave. Y también le pasó a otros pasajeros.

You have an automated checkin and NOBODY to talk to, there are 3 numbers to call but they never answer, room key stopped working multiple times and took over an hour to get someone to answer the phone to get us a new key. We had 2 separate rooms that this happened to. Our first night was for a single room and we were a couple and could not get anyone to answer emails and/or phone to move rooms until the next day. Finally moved to a new room the next day, mold in both bathrooms. Another lady had same problem, but worse. In middle of night some random man walked in her room because they gave him the wrong key card!

No es ni más ni menos que lo que esperaba y por lo que he pagado, instalaciones humildes pero limpias. La puntuación negativa es por el control, hay muchísimo ruido por la noche, música en las habitaciones. He llamado 3 veces está mañana y no me lo han cogido. Además me bloquearon la tarjeta antes de la hora de check out.

A pesar que la gente de limpieza y recepción son muy amables, el estado del hotel no es bueno. Necesita un upgrade. En mi habitación, cuando ponías la tarjeta para encender las luces, venía un zumbido muy molesto del cuadro de luces. Tuve que quitar la tarjeta y el aire acondicionado para poder dormir… y hacía un calor horrible este fin de semana. Les recomendaría que le hicieran una puesta a punto, pues la localización es perfecta para pasar unos días en Madrid

The check in machine seemed easy until we got to our room and our keycard did not work. We then were stuck waiting for over 30 minutes just trying to contact hotel staff because there was no one on site to help us. The same thing happened the second day of our stay when the keycard stopped working again. One of the bathrooms in our room was also out of service and the other one was so small that the door didn’t fully open. We also found cockroaches in our room.

Que PÉSIMA experiencia! NO LO RECOMIENDO PARA NADA El lugar nada que ver con las fotos, súper pequeño, sucio (paredes manchadas, pelo en la regadera), horas para poder entrar (no podíamos entrar nosotros ni otro de los huéspedes que estaba afuera), hay muchísimo ruido de afuera, la cama es muy dura, sucia e incómoda, solo tiene una almohada, en el baño no cabes ni en la regadera ni en la taza. El olor de afuera en los pasillos es horrible. Es el peor lugar en el que me he quedado sin duda.

The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at, and I e been in Madrid quite a few times. The photos are deceptive and the room was really tiny, the bathroom even more so (we are skim and it was a tight fit!). There is NO receptionist despite the photo that shows a desk with a jets in; check in is with a machine that takes a long time and corks be very confusing. There are no amenities of any sorts. The bathroom door doesn’t move easily and is ridiculously out of adjustment and disrepair. With all the options available in this area, this should be your last one! Not worth the money.
