Good

Nice decoration and home feeling to feel the soothing and exotic vibes. Breakfast has not much choice but the rooftop view can fairly make up for that. TV sometimes didn’t work.

I got to say thanks for Mr Hami in Dilhayat Kalfa Hotel and he was so friendly & helpful to allow me to keep our luggage till to late night to catch midnight flight. Hotel location is quiet but just several minutes walk, you can reach tourist area which is very good, you can have busy day for travel around but quiet environment for good sleep. You will be surprised when you have your breakfast on rooftop, the view is so good! I would recommend this hotel who is going to travel Istanbul!

Comfort in Historical location

The hotel is a charming little place run by family. The service was great, we got a lot of help and everything we asked for. It felt like we were staying with a relative. The building is old, historic, so it was worn down a little but it was everything I was hoping for. Short walk to all historic monuments with lots of food options near by. We got the family suite because we were there for a friend’s wedding and it was very spacious and comfortable to get ready in. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants an authentic experience.

The property is small so it’s very homely! Mr Ali and Mr Jesmine did everything to make our stay comfortable! The staff are very kind friendly helpful and generous ! The breakfast was simple and modest. The rooms were cleaned every day and we were able to get our laundry done daily thanks to Madonna the house keeper! I would definitely recommend this place because of the location being so convenient… Mama’s garden Restaurant was a fantastic place within walking distance for great Turkish food .. just a few minutes walk .. for silks and lamps I went to “St. Sophia’s style home” was a small whole sale boutique near Dilhayat that I would recommend for shopping as the owner was very kind and generous and had a great selection at a great price! Overall we enjoyed our stay at Dilhayat very much and would definitely recommend it to anyone .. price safety and security - great place and walking distance to all attractions ♥️

Cleaning lady gave us attitude

The cleaning lady didn't clean our room due to miscommunications. We didn't know she didn't understand English and she didn't tell us that. But when I complained about it to the front desk personnel the cleaning lady who also happened to be the person in charge for break fast showed us serious attitude. I'm letting it go because may be she is a poor lady and I had no intention of getting her into trouble but the hotel needa to employ more staff to take care of things. Using same person for multitasking shows stingy management mindset that's results into poor customer experience. I would never want that lady with disgruntled attitude near my breakfast place in any hotel stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dilhayat Kalfa Hotel! Our room on the first floor was beautiful, spacious, and equipped with all the amenities we needed. The breakfast menu changed daily, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The hotel is within walking distance of many attractions, and public transportation options like the metro and bus are easily accessible. We highly recommend staying here to experience its antique charm and cozy atmosphere!
