The spa is equipped with a sauna, a hot tub, a steam room and Turkish bath/hammam. A variety of treatment therapies are provided, including aromatherapy and hydrotherapy. The property is old... breakfeast is repetitive and bad.... no plates or glasses... the typical food that you are willing to eat is all on pay... ruining the experience.... service at the beach is very limited same in the pool really bad and takes for ever. We stayed in the Del Mar building and it was excellent, we had a 2 bedroom apartment that was big enough for 5 people comfortably, the service was pretty good, food at the buffet was just OK, the Italian restaurant was much better, pools and the beach are great, will go back for sure.

It felt really safe to be in the hotel. Security guards were very aware and asked questions to make sure that guests were going into the right taxi and only guests were going into the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I will be coming here for my next time in Santa Marta.
