Great place, except for the desk and chair

Front desk staff is great. Room is wonderful. Wish it had a normal desk, not a standing desk! Or a chair that matched the desk height. The chair for the standing desk did not work at all. When sitting, the chair was too low and I'm 5'7". Due to a bad knee standing gets painful. We have stayed here before and are always very happy with the lobby, little outdoor patio, staff, and rooms.

Great location in Brooklyn! Loved that the hotel was one block from the subway. Hotel was clean, modern, and cute. Unfortunately the beds were a little soft and the room was somewhat strange. There was a weird fold down table, and gym equipment as part of the decor. Overall, I was happy with the room and the bathroom was quite nice. We had a quiet room which is everything!!!

The room (standard, two double bed), was much smaller than in pictures. Carpet was worn out and the doors to bathroom would be better being normal doors rather than sliding doors, for more privacy when on toilet... Otherwise hotel is at good location, 3min to closest subway and close to many bagel shops and cafes. Staff is super friendly. Neighborhood seemed safe, although we weren't out later than 9PM.

Great location. Friendly staff. My only issue was the loudness of the housekeeping and doors slamming. I was working out of the hotel room during the day and it was just very jarring to hear constant doors slamming. But otherwise great.

Wouldn’t stay here again, but it’s not terrible

The location was great and reception staff were all nice and friendly. I loved that they had multiple water stations across a few floors. They provided yoga equipment (blocks & mat) and also resistance bands per room, plus a container of Clorox wipes to clean it, which was a nice touch. Heating and air worked great in the room, hot water and pressure were good in the shower! The setup of the bed (single King) was odd because you really only had access to one side of the bed (the other was too close to the wall). The carpet unfortunately smelled like mildew which was unpleasant and distracting. The elevators took a long time, but the stairwell is marked and the floors are pretty short.

Not recommended

Some of the pictures used do not represent this hotel and as such are misleading. I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay again, the room was not in a good condition with fraying carpets, broken pieces on the wardrobe and a damp patch on the ceiling. The bathroom was basic and had a sliding door which meant you could hear everything going on and did also not lock. Someone set our alarm to go off early hours on wednesday morning and we struggled to stop this, the next day all of the toilet paper was removed from our bathroom we had to go to reception twice to get this sorted and the person who delivered banged on our door until we opened it which was completely unnecessary. none of the sheets were cleaned in the week we spent there and towels were not changed, none of the surfaces were cleaned either and the bathroom just had the towels refolded.

Would not recommend room 206 - loud from the subway, and from folks hanging outside the front door. The front desk staff was helpful in trying to get me a quieter room, but the management was less helpful once I got to the second room and the AC didn’t work.
