I rarely leave one-star reviews, but this place truly earned it (should be zero stars). Do not stay here!

What you pay is what you get, and this is a great location next to the Canton Fair. No time spent in traffic or public transport, just a few minutes walk. Then metro and tram close by, a few restaurants and hotels to have from reasonable to great food. The property is not difficult to find. However, the check-in / reception is. Not evident at all. A picture of the small tunnel bringing you to the check-in point is a suggestion to the guest... We looked for 20 min until we started to ask people and we found a guest. The rooms are tiny, but correct if you are thinking about work. Not much noise proof... but listen, everyone was there for the Fair, so no late noise. The only issue was cleaning, and a little big of "decay", but look... Not a big deal. I even had a problem with a leak in my room and they changed me on the spot to another room. So great staff, helpful, even if communication was not straight forward (bring your own translator). Breakfast was very limited, with no many chairs / tables... but not a problem because you have so many other choices around... Will I stay again? If it's for the fair, absolutely.
