Will not stay again

Room was next to industrial air conditioner fans which cycled on and off all night, so difficult to get a good night's sleep. Carpets need replacing. Breakfast items (ie: bacon, sausage, eggs , etc) kept in fridge and needed microwaving by guest to cook them

Room was not that great , lokked like walls were crumbling and freezing cold , had to get space heater brought over , alot of electrical issues wiring was very sketchy and shower was like a monsoon after 5 min waiting for hot water , homeless people sleeping on grounds , needles found on ground in morning right outside the doors , wont stay again , frozen microwave breakfast bar was a bit to much for us , coffee was horrible .

A place to stay

It was a place to stay along a travel route. Plenty of parking, especially on the motel side. Staff were friendly. Very musty/mildew smell in the room but the bedding didn’t smell!

Zero stars

The hotel was dirty. The staff was friendly and was doing their best to work with what they had. Would not stay here again. We felt unsafe because of the aggressive outside dwellers.

So check in was smooth, but the pool doesnt work the elevator is broken. An we were on the 5th floor. Get up there an had no towels or shower curtian. Haha so funny. The front desk guy was great though he offerd to switch rooms. We ended up taking the towels n shower curtian from another room. But it was clean the bed was very comfortable an it was quite. So surprisingly it was good other then the weird stuff.

Read before booking

Desk reception didn't know where our room was, sent us walking around the exterior of the hotel to where our room wasn't. Pool, hot tub and waterslide closed. No elevator working on a 5 story hotel, bathroom fan not working in our room. Was there for a funeral and our family was agast that we booked in there. Never again!

The room was filthy, stains on some of the walls, broken elevator, ripped furniture, our room was overseeing a walll and the first floor roof. The roof was covered in pigeon poop which even had bones and feathers of most likely pigeons. I have pictures to prove it. The poop was all over the window and screen. Sadly the air conditioner was a foot away from one of the beds. The main building air conditioner is also one the same roof. This Travel Lodge needs understand the seriousness of bird droppings and the toxins that enter into the rooms atmosphere: Cryptococcosis, histoplasmosis, psittacosis, e-coli, salmonella, etc. This building needs a major overhaul.

Travelodge is a fine hotel to stay. Its room rent per night was quite reasonable as compared to other hotels. It is an old hotel but was fine for our family for 2 night stay. Need some renovation for more quality improvement and customer attraction. Elevator need to be fixed as soon as possible.

Unsafe area of North Battleford. Homeless gathering area however they didn’t bother us. Room air conditioning wasn’t working well. Room was generally clean, bed was ok. Breakfast had protein options, not just carbs.
