Beautiful Hotel, Lovely Stay
My husband and I stayed at the Gerloczy in Budapest for 3 nights in February and had a really lovely stay. The location was perfect, room comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated in an old-world style (think wooden beams, brass fixtures, striped wallpaper) and the staff were efficient and friendly. We were traveling off-season so got a great price..I suspect it would have been beyond us otherwise so we feel very lucky. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend:)

Excellent boutique hotel, great location
We loved staying here. A fabulous old building renovated with all the best original features. The location is excellent, next to but not in the entertainment areas and easily walkable to the river and all the sights. The restaurant has a Paris cafe feel, and the food is top notch, we dined like kings.

Convenient location. Walkable and near transportation. Picked the hotel because it was boutique and had character. Main improvement I would suggest is the shower and toiletries. Shower leaked into the floor and the shampoo/conditioner made my hair greasy.

Out of ten!
Both the guy during the morning reception and the night reception were super kind and helpful. The room was very good and had everything we needed. We had a problem with the AC in the room and they immediately helped us to solve it. I will definitely come back here every time I visit Budapest, I will recommend it :)

Four-star, except for the service.
Clean, comfortable, excellent location. Outstanding restaurant. Great decor. Did not like the perfumed air in the room and hallways. Service was a bit spotty. Sometimes great, sometimes poor. Did not appreciate the check-in clerk frequently showing his disdain. Hunor is paid to provide 4 star service, not to express his personal opinion of the guests.

Check-in was quick and smooth. Lovely decorated old time hotel/room with view of street. Loved all the decor in hotel and restaurant. Cleaned our rooms daily. Breakfast was amazing, cooked to order menu was delicious (tried something new each morning), and staff very nice and accommodating. Checked out late and was able to store our luggage for a few hours. Loved the location as it was walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go for our 3 day visit. Definitely recommend.

Et rigtigt dejligt hotel med fantastisk beliggenhed i rolige omgivelser. Vi boede på et værelse med to enkelt senge. Værelset var desværre ikke så "boutique-agtigt" som vi havde forventet og rengøringen var ikke helt i top. Udover det var personalet utroligt søde og hjælpsomme og morgenmaden, hvor man bare bestiller alt hvad man har lyst til fra menukortet (hvis man har betalt for morgenmad) var helt fantastisk.

En pärla i centrala Budapest.
Fantastiskt läge, gångavstånd till det mesta i centrum. Charmigt gammalt hotell med mycket original inredning bevarad. Incheckningen kunde fungera bättre, ingen riktig koll. Fin uteservering men personalen lite nonchalanta.
