The online photos are definitely deceiving. I thought this was a cute little boutique hotel, far from it. Upon check-in, the man was not welcoming, just very serious. We were told the elevator was not working, but then saw the staff using it. Not great for someone who has knee problems, thankfully we were on the second floor. There was nowhere to hang our garments. The fridge has been pulled from its original spot inside a piece of furnature and placed on the floor. Where it has been pulled from was covered in dust. There were shelves in the furniture that were broken and shoved in at an angle. The bathroom was not good at all. The tub had grime in it, the tile grout area was moldy. With minimal effort, the mold came off with a tissue. There was, what appeared to be, blood spatter on the top left in the shower, someones dirty hand prints above whe shower rod (probably from whoever installed it). Not a huge deal, but a soap dish would have been nice. The floor was clean and the bed was comfortable though! With a little extra effort and some touch up paint and bathtub repair, it could be cute. Also, I was not comfortable with the security. One could just walk in, walk up the steps and have access to all rooms. It is not is the best part of the city, so that is a big security risk. An officer said not to walk around at night if that tell you anything. The main door, outside the room doors need a hydrolic arm to soften the slam. It woke us up.
