Lovely stay at the Black Swan
We had a lovely stay at the Black Swan. Very impressed with the staff very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was nice and the lunches and evening meals were very good too. Ideal location and lovely homely feel. Would definitely visit again, good value for money

Lovely room for an overnight stay. Warm, comfortable and nicely decorated.Quite a small space but not cramped. Very comfortable king size bed. Included breakfast excellent with buffet and hot choices. 1 tiny issue All ‘singing dancing’ tv needs instruction sheet!

Location food and staff were all superb. They were also willing to accept cash for room payment ! Car parking at rear off hotel was available on all five days of our stay and never had to park else where. Can't praise this hotel and staff enough.

I won’t repeat
I have to admit that, in my case, I didn’t enjoy at all. Staff is so inflexible, I was in a business trip. Impossible to get a cold sandwich after 9pm (arrived at 9:07) no other options in town except an Indian. The hotel is pet friendly which I like but for the rest not an option for me. A pity because I was expecting something different. The rooms are fine but too many steps and a bit caotic
