10/10 Exceptional
This little cabin was perfect! You can see the main house from the driveway and front door, but with the direction of the home and an umbrella, you feel like you're all by yourself in the woods. There are some pups, but they were well behaved and didn't come around often. This is a great little cabin—perfect for a 2 person get-away—with all the amenities you will need. There was a coffee maker and tea, grill on the patio, and we were able to cook breakfast and dinner each day of our stay with everything on hand—including some oils and spices. There are some small general stores on the way in, but we grabbed groceries in Pioneer. We were able to drive to a few amazing hikes in the foothills of the Sierras and we drove less than an hour for gorgeous views of the Sierras from ridgelines and lakes. The bedding was comfy, and we had blissful nights of sleep listening to the crickets in a soft warm bed. We didn't speak with the owners on the property—they gave us our space and we never had any issues to reach out for. They left little welcome gifts and set us up perfectly! Would definitely recommend...We will be back!
