My family stayed at Tradewinds for two weeks. Pros: close to the beach, board walk (less than 10min walk), pool is great for kids.
Cons: 1) cleaning: our apartment only received a deep clean once in two weeks (ie b/room, floors - bedding/towels, trash are cleaned every 3 days). After sharing my concerns with front desk, they said you have to specifically request cleaning. We were not told this at check in and were only made aware 5 days into our stay when I asked.
2) Wifi: we experienced significant issues with wifi our entire stay. I approached front desk about this and was told they would have to file a ticket with IT and was issued an alternative connection, which was equally as bad. The wifi issue was never resolved during our two week stay and staff never followed up. This was a significant issue for us as we were using wifi for work.
3) Security: we had a number of items stolen from our room through a bathroom window. The window was open when we checked in and there was no latch to close it. Staff did take the issue seriously but maintenance had to manually close the window. The hotel has a number of coded gates, however they were either broken or left open to the street.
4) Taxi: we asked front desk to call us a taxi to the airport. After checking out, we saw they called a luxury SUV service. The ride to the airport cost us $95US dollars! For comparison, we paid $45US to take a YellowCab from the airport to the hotel.
