Room 205 in the annex, had to go to reception at 1.30 am due to very noisy pipes/heating system. Staff were good and gave us the choice of two other rooms to sleep in but we were able to leave our luggage in original room until checkout. Annex quite noisy when people coming and going but rooms and beds comfortable

Maintenance clean up
Uncomfortable room and bed, bathroom looked like it had had some maintenance done that day but not cleaned & the hallway smelt strongly of chemical, possibly paint thinners or mastic, room grubby and very hot plus an uncomfortable bed. The building and restaurant are very nice.

Little bit of confusion at check in which was quickly and easily sorted out by the staff. Apparently hotels.com and the hotel aren’t compatible when booking so I’d call ahead if you are staying here to cover any issues before you arrive. Either way, we got a room that we were expecting and breakfast. Room was large and comfortable, very clean.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel seems well run and the common areas are well decorated and furnished comfortably. Our room was comfy, the bed was enormous! The bathroom was ok but the shower could have been cleaner. Breakfast was good.
