Ruddy and Leo were the only competent people there hence the 2 stars because everyone else was just horrible. Furthermore, the accommodations look great at first glance until you notice all the issues - AC is not working properly, the shower pressure is horrible, the sliding doors don’t lock properly, tbe blinds were not working, etc.

We had an amazing stay here. The apartment was clean, spacious, and fully furnished, with a large, beautifully arranged terrace that made relaxing outdoors a real pleasure. The staff were friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful, whether at the reception, restaurants, or bars, everyone went out of their way to make the experience enjoyable. The food was excellent throughout the day, offering great variety and quality. The beach and pool area were lovely as well; not crowded or noisy, which made the whole place perfect for relaxing. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a peaceful atmosphere.

Stora ljusa trevliga rum. De flesta i personalen var helt fantastiska! Fick en att känna dig välkommen och speciell. Väldigt god och bra mat. De städar varje dag kom kommer, tycker jag, lite väl sent ibland, få städning vid kl 18 på kvällen... nån dag kom de två gånger så det finns saker som kan bli bättre. Hotellet ligger precis vid havet, framgår dåligt på hotells, har en mysig strandbar. Området var inte säkert men man behöver/fick inte inte gå ut och inne på resorten var det hur bra som helst. Finns turer med guide man kan åka på.

Hotel com jeitinho de resort, inclusive melhor que alguns, oque tornou perfeito o custo benefício, o atendimento foi excelente, neste ponto ainda melhor que os resortes que frequentei, sem duvida volto a me hospedar, e com certeza indico principalmente para casais. Pontos positivos: café da manhã espetacular, tem tudo, comida de primeira qualidade, assim como os restaurantes oferecem o melhor. o apartamento é enorme e acomoda com conforto umas 4 pessoas. a Piscina gigantesca, praticamente um lago artificial, com aguas limpíssimas, serio, ficamos impressionados, não esperava tanto do hotel devido o valor ser mais baixo que os resorts. ainda tem uma praia linda e cheia de estrutura na frente, com entrada própria do hotel e bar/restaurante pé na areia. esta praia é a mesma que tem os passeios com golfinhos, então se tem a intenção desse passeio vai facilitar, eles também oferecem com agencia terceirizada os demais passeios como isla saona e não é caro se negociar bem. tudo isso com um valor baixo. eu me hospedei la e em um resort conhecido que era o dobro do preço e confesso que me arrependi de não ter ficado toda a minha estadia la. para locomoção com Uber também é tranquila pois é um hotel então te busca na porta, diferente dos resorts que fazem o cliente ir até a parte de fora dos portões. ponto negativo: nao tem muita opção para crianças no que se refere a atrações e brinquedoteca, mas dependendo do objetivo da familia a piscina vai ser uma diversão perfeita.

Just a beautiful resort!! No nightly shows but we went on a VERY slow week. Beach is beautiful but NO way swimable!! Murky and stinky kelp etc but not the resorts fault.. Staff was AMAZING everywhere!!! Smaller resort so very "walkable" for someone as myself with a disability. I do not recommend for anyone looking to "party, party, party". Relaxation you will be given here for sure :-) Staff is GREAT!!! Property VERY clean and maintained

The stay was good overall but could have been better. I loved the daily fresh fruit but didn’t really enjoy the rest of the food. As mentioned in previous reviews, some of the food is too salty. D101 beds are hard but the unit and location is great. I couldn’t enjoy the beach because of the water pollution, not seaweed. At this time, most of the ocean on this part of the island is dirty and stinks. No fault of the property.

Upon arriving, our first interaction with one of the girls at the front desk was less than welcoming. Once there was a concierge to assist us we were given her WhatsApp information and directed to contact her with needs/questions/concerns etc. The first time we reached out she responded that she was off for the day and nothing else. Not even a simple please go to the front desk or I will forward this a coworker. This continued the whole stay. We paid extra for a room with the patio and jacuzzi tub. The tub was disgusting and did not work. After about 36 hours, maintenance came and fixed it. On day 3 our room lost power, not the resorts fault but we had to wait almost 3 hours for a new room. Normally not a big deal but when it’s that hot and you’re trying to leave for an excursion you kind of need a room. Our last day we woke up to no water. Again not necessarily their fault but very inconvenient. The rooms were okayish on cleanliness but were very unfinished. Our first room had ants all over in the bathroom. 2 out of 4 nights they closed the buffet forcing you to pick from 2 restaurants. The buffet was always super hot. The gentleman that runs the gift shop and books excursions was way overly pushy and rude. He went as far as to approach us while we were in the pool relaxing about a purchase we told him we would come back and do later. We had to walk by the gift shop to get to our room and we couldn’t get up there without him hounding us. It was very irritating.

Le Bakour est un hôtel merveilleux. Nairoby m’a accueillie avec le grand sourire et elle est restée disponible en tout temps. Le personnel est souriant, gentil et poli. Que dire de la nourriture, tout était toujours délicieux et varié. Tous les matins, je prenais mon succulent café latte. Franchement, très bel endroit pour un séjour reposant et énergisant.

Because of a lot of good reviews, we chose this hotel. However, rooms condition is needed to improve. We changed three rooms and still last one was not okay. Small beds in family suite, unfinished doors (need extra strength to open and close them, toilets (sometimes flushes didn’t work and one of showers didn’t work), balcony doors (difficult to close and lock). There was no electricity and water in our room half of two days. Rooms need inspection and corrections. A lot of things needs to be fixed. Overall, we liked the hotel, pool, beach, staff help, team and the atmosphere. However, the quality of stay is not a 5-star hotel.
