A jewel of a hotel with top-level attention from manager and staff, both in checking in as well as dining (with very good food at the restaurant). Breakfast was customized from Turkish specialties, but not a buffet. Excellent, lovely room (double deluxe) with large bathroom, complete with two sinks and a bathtub along with a large shower. There was plenty of storage space in both rooms. One can enjoy at any time the museum quality furnishings and collectibles throughout the hotel, which was converted from an historic caravanserei with great care. And there is a fascinating actual museum attached to the hotel. Location is just right, central to the citadel and old town, the Anatolian Museum, as well as the bazaar and main city below.

The property was impressive and the staff very sweet. It has a lot of character and the terrace restaurant is amazing. Turkish breakfast was incredible! It is located at the top of the historic district and with access to the old town. Very nice experience overall!

Amazing hotel with excellent service This hotel was once a saray( small palace) built in the 16th century Amazing authentic place very clean, the service is superb, the food very generous and delicious. There is a museum in the hotel that covers wide range of old ventures with so many different different articrafts Amazing pieces The ambiance is Amazing the staff extremely helpful

Beautiful historic building, rooms comfortable, nice restaurant terrace. Air con in the room didn’t work, but staff sent a maintenance guy to try and fix it straight away and when it couldn’t be fixed they swapped our room - great customer service.

Top location and beautiful hotel

Truly wonderful Location right next to the Museum of Anatolian civilisation and in front of Ankara castle. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the rooms have everything. Reception staff are very friendly but the breakfast service was not so good. Compared to other wonderful breakfasts we have had during our trip to Turkey, this was disappointing. a cappuccino was charged extra. For the rest, it was wonderful.

This is a lovely historic building that has beautifully restored. Very unique and close to museum and Fort. Our air conditioning did not work and it was a very hot day. Made for an unpleasant night

How perfection looks like

Simply the best hotel in Ankara. Historik building beautiful renovated, beautiful rooms with special antique decoration … wonderfull. Staf very very friendly, do everything for you even the impossible. Restaurant… my god what a food !!! İ have been in 3 stars Michelin restaurants all over the world … this is definetly 1 star … almost 2 stars Michelin for a small price !!! Perfect hotel !!!

Great location, walking distance to the museum and castle. Decoration meets the standard of “Boutique”. The view of the restaurant is fantastic. But if you want to have a swim or a Hammam, you have to go to another hotel by 15 mins driving/taxi. In addition, the air condition doesn’t work in one room of our group. Overall, it’s a unique hotel with special design. Recommended!

Beautiful rooms with unique decor, a kitchen with an outstanding chef. What makes this hotel shine, though, is the kindness of its staff. I had a fever and needed to seek treatment at a hospital (a daunting prospect for a non-Turkish speaker traveling alone). The front-desk supervisor took me there and stayed with me through the whole process. As I was recovering, the housekeeping and room service staff brightened my days with their smiles and nurtured my baby Turkish conversations. May all their days be long and prosperous.

This is a beautiful hotel located in a renovated caravanserai, in the oldest part of Ankara, next to the Citadel, and very near the Museum of Anatolian Civilization. The building is very well maintained, and really gives a sense of the past. My room was lovely. It looked out on the street, which can be a little busy during the day and has occasional barking dogs at night. (I asked for another more secluded room looking away from the street but was told these were only suites). But the street is quiet past 8pm and the dogs are not loud :) I am a light sleeper but the street did not bother me at night. I don't believe I received a special VIP treatment (Expedia's claim) but I was treated very well and I really recommend this hotel.

Otantik bir yaşam tarzı oluşturulmuş. Bulunduğu konum itibarıyla her yanında muhteşem kültürel gezilere olanak ağlayan bir konumu ve konsepti var. Ankara Kalesi karşınızda, Koç müzesi hemen aşağınızda, Muhteşem eski tarz çarşı hemen çıkışta, Başka müze ve gezilecek yerler burnunuzun dibinde... Personel çok iyi. Çok keyif aldım.
