Wonderful hotel friendly staff

The rooms are inline or larger than modern hotels. Very interesting property with its long LA history. The manager was very friendly and all the staff we encountered were the same. Very comfortable. And excellent value to be in Hollywood. Will stay there again and will have to try the bar & grill.

Beautiful place.

This was in fact a little hidden gem. The hotel itself had a vintage type vibe ... Which I liked. The room was beautifully basic. Nice shower nice bed fridge , ... And a GIANT closet.

Amazing staycation

This was truly a hidden gem. I needed a quick staycation for the weekend before I moved into my new place and found this. It was so inexpensive. I was worried, but after looking at the reviews and the pictures and the price point of the restaurant and café, there was no way that it could be that bad……. And it wasn’t the property was beautifully remodeled staff was so kind and accommodating. Everyone I talked to was friendly and well-versed in service. From the front desk to Housekeeping to the restaurant, every person I have a person encountered was incredibly accommodating. I would definitely do a staycation again. Additionally will be enjoying that restaurant again. It was unbelievably fantastic. Not one thing that I ordered, would I not rave about. Extremely grateful for this weekend and the amazing service.

Hollywood Horror

Hotel has so much potential with its Hollywood theme but it was horrific. Had to check out early. Room smelled bad. Stains on carpet and curtains. No coffee making facilities. Only one bedside table. No convenient plug or USBC sockets. Tiny bathroom. Everything dated.

The hotel is clean, secure, and comfortable. It is a historic buidling with no central AC or heat. The rooms have window units for AC and portable electric heaters. Despite the age, the building is well maintained and very comfortable. Plenty of parking for hotel guest and secure. Really enjoyed the corner cafe for morning coffee and Edmon restaurant has an awesome vibe for late night drinks and munchies. Really enjoyed my stay.
