My wife and daughter arrived at the hotel to check-in and were told it hadn’t been paid for even though it was paid for on booking on Expedia. She was made to pay the balance again until she could contact me to get the receipt from the booking. She was then refunded the money which will take upto 5 days which is unacceptable in my opinion as it wasn’t an insignificant amount of money to be out of pocket ahead of our trip in london.
Room was newly furnished and clean otherwise.

When we arrived we told the staff in the reception, that we had tickets for the theater and that we had less than an hour to get to the theater.
We asked if they could give us directions as to how to get to the show, "ABBA Voyage" in time.
The staff gave us directions - 6 stops with the tube direction Holborn, and then no more than 10 minutes by foot.
The only problem was that when we arrived, we found that the ABBA-show was 45 minutes away, and we could not - by far - get there in time.
NOT GOOD!
