Clean Rooms, But Service and Parking Are a Hassle
My recent stay was a mixed bag. On one hand, the rooms were clean and well-kept, which was a definite plus. On the other, the overall experience was severely impacted by poor service and a frustrating parking situation.
Upon arrival, the front desk staff was far from welcoming. Customer service seemed to be an afterthought. To make things worse, the main elevator was out of service, and we were given a room that required a long walk through the hotel, up a working elevator, and then all the way back down the length of the building to reach our room.
The parking policy was the most troubling part of our stay. We had to pay an extra fee, and within a few minutes of us getting to our room, a security vehicle was already waiting by our car. It felt like a trap, and we were lucky to have seen them in time to quickly pay the fee. This lack of a grace period is unacceptable. A better system would be to provide guests with ample time to pay or simply include the parking cost in the room rate to prevent this kind of stress for guests.
