The location has close access to the interstate and the route to the devils tower. We showed up early and they checked us in no problem. The service was friendly and the rooms were clean. It’s nice the windows are able to be opened to let in the fresh air. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel which was very convenient as restaurants can be few and far between in these smaller towns. The food and service were both on point. A few T.V.’s playing movies and sports. Decent beer selection and good burgers.

My family stayed in the 3 bed room, which was great for 3 adults - each of us had our own bed which was nice. Plenty of space in the room. The desk was useful to work on my laptop. My family used the fridge and microwave to make dinner and breakfast. Only negative was the lavender mint shampoo/conditioner/soap was terrible smelling and caused one family member to break out in a rash. I would recommend bringing your own shampoo/conditioner/soap. Used this as a place to stay before visiting Devils Tower and Mount Rushmore. Definitely would stay again!

Moorcroft Lodge is a gem! Reasonable prices, and they keep the place clean, clean, clean! One caveat: No elevator (two floors) so people who cannot go up/down stairs have to stay on the first floor.

Decent stay

We were a little frustrated with the late check in process since there was no overnight staff after a certain time, but everything else was great. We appreciated that they are pet friendly and our first hotel stay with our dog was great. Breakfast was nice as well

Good budget motel with a sports bar

The room was comfortable, and there was a nice sports bar on the premises. The tap water was really bad tasting, but there was filtered water available in the lobby.
