Owners of the hotel are very kind and helpful. Location is extremely convenient. Metro and Bus stops are all within 5 minutes of walk. Highly recommended for first time traveller to Rome.

I had an absolutely amazing experience at Hotel Daplace in Rome! From the moment I arrived, the service was top-notch – warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful. The room was spotless, stylish, and super comfortable, making it the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The best part? The location! It’s just a short walk to the Colosseum, which made sightseeing incredibly convenient. Waking up and being so close to one of the world’s most iconic landmarks was a dream come true. I highly recommend Hotel Daplace to anyone visiting Rome. Whether you're here for a romantic getaway or a cultural adventure, this place hits all the right notes.

Eu gostei da minha estadia, o banheiro era grande. O quarto estava de acordo. E era tudo bem limpinho. O único problema é o barulho dos hóspedes fora dos horários. Muitos hóspedes chegando de madrugada, tocando campainha e telefone incansavelmente. O que tornou a estadia um pouco incomoda. A localização e ótima dá pra fazer muitas coisas a pe, fui sozinha e me senti segura. De frente com o local tem uma cafeteria o que facilita na hora de tomar café da manhã. A questão do barulho pode ser amenizada com algumas placas pedindo silêncio após o horário. E também nos interfones porque tem mais de um, o que deixa meio confuso na primeira vez.

This property does not have any staff, it simply consists of several rooms that are in a building with residences and another "guest house". The instructions to get in were simple and worked well, the room was good for two people and the location is very convenient. The floor was quite dirty but, other than that, it was a nice place to stay at.

No hot water on checking in. Messaged the service desk to inform. Had no response. Connected in the hall just by chance and was able to voice concerns about no hot water AND towel heater not working. The hot water issue was fixed within the first couple hours, but even then the water temperature was lukewarm at best. The towel heater issue was ignored, not fixed, didn’t even get a response about it.

Poor communication via email/WhatsApp/Hotels.com messenger. This is disappointing as we didn’t see a single member of staff so relied on communication via email etc. Room has a pungent bleach smell that was overwhelming. Good location though!

The pillow sheets were old and they looked dirty, even if they were clean, they look awful. I found a hair inside the bed, and the mattress was terribly soft. The area is quiet, with good local restaurants and is close to the coliseum but the inside and the rooms were not worthy of the price. Also the check out is at 10 am! The earliest I’ve seen. And when I first arrived nobody answered the door, I had to called. The girl was nice but the hotel facilities weren’t great, I paid 130$ for 1 night, and I know there are better places for that price. So no good value for the money.

The property was very nice. The room was a little small for three people. The queen size bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately, the single size bed was not very comfortable at all. We would’ve liked extra blankets. The shower would kind of fill up with water, but overall we really liked the place and would stay again. The Colosseum is very close within walking distance and there are really good restaurants. overall, we would stay here again. The staff was very nice and very helpful.

Mara was there to greet me after a difficult time reaching Expedia for assistance to occupy my room. I won’t be using the travel site from now on because if this. Otherwise I felt the wonderful Italians were there to save me from my own anxiety, including a tour vendor who helped me establish Wi-Fi so I could reach my hosts. Thank you again Mara!!
