Floor needed to be mopped, feet turned black walking around bare foot. Lots of per hair every very. Super dusty room especially the ceiling far. The bed was horrible and ruined our stay, it must have been 20+ years old. The bed was broken with springs sticking out, covered in blood and other stains, and the sheets it was made with didn't fit. The bed frame was broke with nails sticking out that scratched us. Horrible nights sleep but we didn't want to pay for another room somewhere else. Would not recommend staying here.

This property had a huge cleanliness issue. I don’t think he’s ever cleaned. He just picks up the obvious things when guest leaves and makes the beds. The bedding was dirty and stained. The floors were swept and mopped. There was multiple debris and old food left under most of the beds that is clearly been there for months. The towels were basically brown, and they should’ve been white.

Not as booked

We got there and we’re having trouble getting into our RESERVED cabin. The owner gave our cabin to another group with no warning. So we were placed in a single bed cabin (myself and my 6’1” son) that smelled so heavy of stale smoke it was nauseating:( all of things smelled and our eyes burned. The lady who ended up assisting us to get in, was very very nice! It was just the switch of last minute accommodations that really made our stay awful:( the cabin needs to be fumigated.

Arrived at the property at 8 PM. Nobody on site all weekend! Door code was texted but other renters arriving over the weekend had issues getting in. I looked in the drawers of the kitchenette and in two of them there was mouse poop (with some shredded seasoning packets) and ants. I called to report the problem. I didn’t hear back for 16 hours, but the reply was “thanks for the information” and told that housekeeping could go over to the cottage right then, but I asked if they could wait a couple hours. I got no immediate response as to when they would show. When I later texted them some six hours later the management said that housekeeping had knocked which was not true bc one of my party was there that time. I heard nothing for another 16 hours but received a text saying that housekeeping was no longer on premises. The management asked if I wish to switch cabins which I was open to, but I asked follow up questions about the number of beds,etc, but another two hours went by without full answers and I was told there were now none available to swap. The text exchange got heated: the management told me to stop harassing him and if the conditions were so bad I should leave the rental early. Other people at the property who booked through other travel services reported dirty cabins. There is a for sale site on the property and I think the owner does not care about the property anymore so do not book! They do not answer a 2nd number and in fact took down the sign with the #s

Unable to check in at 03:10, because nobody answered the phone to provide the access code. I call the emergency number and they told me to wait until 04:30 when the manager arrives. The room was dirty and the heater was it working.
