The room was super clean and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable, the property was well-taken care of, and the owners were responsive to our inquiries. Location is central to restaurants, shops, etc. We will stay here again next time we are traveling through Ely. Highly recommend!

Clean room and comfortable beds. Renovations not complete but looks like they are getting there. A little trouble getting our check in info, owner was finally reached and apologized saying his phone had died. We were able to get in and had a restful nights sleep!

The room and property were decent for the price. I truly appreciate the quick response and customer service from the property owner. The motel is near a few abandoned homes and businesses, which can make one feel a little uneasy. The parking lot, though nicely marked, was scattered with animal waste, mostly due to irresponsible pet owners. We made sure to wipe our dog’s paws before they reentered our room. I know the property is still under the reconditioning process, but we’d consider returning to this motel. There are plenty of restaurants located downtown and a convenient Mexican restaurant across the street. Also, there is Shell gas station around the corner. Overall a 4/5!

While check-in was easy (though impersonal, mediated by no human beings in the flesh) and the owners of the property seemed to be nice via text messages (could have been AI), and while the bed was comfortable and sockets for charging plugs were conveniently located on the nightstand, the room was very small, there were no luggage racks or place other than the floor to put suitcases, and the brown shag carpet and floor slanting down toward the back of the room and the low bathroom counter and old bathtub were all signs of the age of the place and suboptimal maintenance. The ice machine didn't work, and the vending machine sold mostly sweet stuff. If it had been half the price, it would have been more worth it, but at $123 for the room we felt ripped off.

My favorite part is parking right in front of my room, unloading my things into the room, having a code to get into my room, and I really like the ambience of the TV being on the screensaver.

FABULOUS GEM!
This place is super cool and a nice updated take on the “Route 66 roadside motel”. I arrived after riding a motorcycle across the state and the self check in was AMAZING. Room was super dooper clean. Mattress and pillows were comfy…I slept like a baby. The Roku TV was a nice touch. Great Mexican restaurant across the street.
