a perfect get away!

We booked this gem to recover from a family trip to St. John. What a find. We had plans..to tour etc, but all that went by the way when we started chillin' at the pool. We met the nicest people, ate the most delicious food from the on site restaurant, and enjoyed wonderful coffee and breakfast sandwiches from the on site coffee shop. I would love to go back. The sunset over the bay was the highlight of my day.

Great place for a family. Quiet, comfortable, with lots of space, a pool and great views. Rent a car or you will spend a fortune in taxi fees.

Awesome stay!

Has a good restaurant and coffee shop on premises with great friendly staff. The roads to get up were a little nerve-wracking at first but we got used to it fast. Good views, too. Can see some oceans, hill, feel like you are surrounded in greenery.

Stunning Views!

Our view at Flamboyan is what really sold us. It was absolutely stunning. The room was also equipped with everything we needed for our two-night stay. The staff was friendly, and it was easy access to Magen's Bay and area restaurants. I would absolutely stay again.

The property was very beautiful. After looking at the other reviews I wasn't very hopeful but after staying and I was in awe. Our hotel room faced the Magen Bay ocean view and it was breathtaking. The queen size bed fir both me and my husband comfortably and everything was clean and taken care of. Checking in at 4 was unorthodox however it was worth the wait.

Stayed in one of the Villas on property and had dead bugs in the bedding in one of the bedrooms. No way to communicate to housekeeping or front desk because both were unavailable after hours. Property was run by generator and had to be shut down due to repairs being made so restaurants had to close. Would not recommend.

A facility at the crossroads, food wait times over 1 hour consistently. Short staffed. Unsure whether they want to commit fully to resort v timeshare. Facility in disrepair. Power outages twice daily. On the positive side price point and view of Megan's bay is excellent.

Too many stairs!!!

My only problem and concern is the excessive number of stairs required in order to get to the room. In addition, there was no one on staff to help with the bags. My mother and I are 91 and 73 respectively. Therefore, stairs with or without bags was extremely challenging. The best thing was the pleasant staff and the generous guests who offered to help us get our luggage up some of the stairs when we arrived, as well as, down the stairs when checking out. In addition, there were no staples found in the room, such as, water, convenient ice machine, or coffee etc. available at least for the first night. Although there were two ice machines, they were not conveniently located which required going down and up stairs again. The worst part was that there wasn’t any information on the website warning of any of these issues or challenges. There wasn’t any house keeping and the property seemed to be a kind of timeshare which also was not mentioned on the website.

Nice property, decent sized room, beautiful view from the balcony. This place has everything you need. A breakfast cafe that has good coffee and sandwiches and a great bar/restaurant that serves delicious food. We at dinner here every night. Would definitely come back!

Clean update place, great view

We had a brief one night stay and this space provided us great comfort and a wonderful view at an affordable price. There is a pool and deck/sitting area on the property and a restaurant. If we had stayed longer we would have definitely tried it out. While the room was perfect and in excellent condition, the outside steps leading to the upper units are a little sketchy and the overhang above our door, room 333, appears as though it may fall at any time. The management was made aware of this and it was noted to be a known issue. Speaking of the management, both the daytime and second shift attendant were both lovely and very accommodating. Bonus that there is a legit coffee shop on the property (liken it to S*bucks) that we got great lattes from and fresh breakfast sandwiches made to order. If we ever stay on St Thomas multiple nights, we would definitely come back.
