The room is very nicely arranged and I really like that the couch is a kind of material that can be wiped off. Very well thought out space. Very short stay. Did not use the desk, dining counter, or kitchen space. The TV in our king room is hung in an awkward position, and is too large in the space it is in. So it doesn't angle correctly for watching in bed. It was also crooked, making it look precarious, but it seemed secure. The bed is very firm. Neither myself, nor my companion, slept well because of the bed. It is such a nice room, that the bed was a disappointment. I would really like to use this hotel again the next time I am in Springfield, but slept poorly. The room was mostly clean. Some debris in the corners, and as is true it seems for all hotels in the $200 price point the grout is already so dirty. Hotels never keep their tile and grout clean, which would go such a long way.
I didn't get to use the gym space, but I really like how it was on the main floor right in an open and area of high foot traffic. Made it feel very safe. I don't like gyms that are tucked downstairs in hotels. Very nice seating areas on main floor. Did not eat the complimentary breakfast so cannot comment. Check in was easy. Nice parking lot.
