Properties located in a prime location. A lot of nice stores around. Close to all attractions. But going into the hotel reception is located on the fourth floor elevator you have to take a few steps up and the elevator only holds up to 2 people and barely has room for suitcases so if you’re travelling with large suitcases you will not fit. But otherwise staff is great and the service was great.

This was my families third time choosing to stay at Hotel Relais dei Papi. It is a nice place, friendly staff, great rooftop to relax on at the end of your day exploring. We will be returning again in 2024 and considered trying somewhere else just for variety but decided to just stick with where we know we will be treated right.

Decent accomodation centrally placed! The bed was kinda worn out and one of the towels were dirty. But the location was good close to the subway and apart from the above the room was clean and the AC worked.

You get very much what you pay for. Staff are friendly enough, but towels are small, you can't leave your AC on in room when you are gone so the room is infernally hot when you get back, roof top bar is nice enough but they definitely overhype it in the pictures. I would personally cough up some money next time to stay at a nicer hotel, but if you are on a budget and are just needing a place to shower and sleep, this is definitely a solid option.

Horrible hotel

We booked a renovated room, but when we got to the hotel they "upgraded" us. It was not an upgrade. The room was old. The beds were old and the blanket was old and small. It was dirty. We asked for the room we booked, but refused any help. Maybe its a language barrier, but the person at the desk was rude. The only positive thing I can say is that the area is good. Walking distance to everything.

Beh, come al solito la stanza è stupenda, confortevole e il relax nell'idromassaggio non è mancato di certo. Sempre un onore alloggiare qua e massima stima anche al personale che mi tratta in modo eccellente. Quando il mio capo mi rimanda qua, sarà un piacere immenso tornare. Non faccio nomi per "riservatezza" ma quando l'addetto al check-in mi ha ringraziato per i bei commenti che faccio ogni volta, mi spinge a farne altri positivi, quando in un posto ci si trova bene e l'accoglienza è positiva, non vedo perchè scrivere cose negative. Un paio di "accortezze" ovviamente nella precisione mia però, non possono mancare. In bagno meglio accendere la luce vicino allo specchio perchè con l'altra luce, si accende una specie di ventola che un po' è rumorosa e poi ho notato che le porte della doccia non si chiudono benissimo, potrebbe finire qualche goccia d'acqua sul pavimento esterno mentre ci si fa la doccia, ma basta passarci l'asciugamano per sistemare il tutto. Per il resto, davvero il top.

Dejligt hotel beliggende i en stille gade i trygt område. 5. Perfekt beliggenhed: 5 min. gang til stor shoppinggade, 10 min. gang til Vatikanet og 20 min hyggelig gåtur til det historiske centrum. Hotellet er ikke stort, men rent og pænt. Betjeningen er enestående (vi mistede vores bagage i lufthavnen og hotellet gjorde en stor indsats for at få den tilbage). Glem ikke tagterrassen. Den er et dejligt åndehul med masser af sol, fin udsigt og ro.

Très bien situé très accueillants

Excellent choix, nous étions très bien placés car tout est à portée de rue (courses rapides, petit dej dej ou diner, magasins, pharmacies) bref au top. Le Vatican est tout proche à pied et une station de métro est à moins de 5 minutes. Ils peuvent organiser une navette aéroport, on est bien situés pour vite l'atteindre d'ailleurs en navette. Très bonne literie, super toit terrasse où l'on apprécie la ville vue du haut, personnel super agréable et à disposition. Parlent très bien français si besoin.

When We booked the hotel the price was $441.00 when I got my billing statement it was raised to $789.00. There is no way I would have paid that for this hotel. We could barely walk in the very small room. The bathroom was so small that you couldn't take a shower and dry yourself off in there, you had to go into the main room. The toilet was dirty, the floors sticky. We had a non smoking room but the whole hotel reeked of cigarette smoke. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.

Amazing rooftop view. Metro pass is a must. 1/2 hour walk to Vatican (easy). Somewhat limited dining options in the area. Don't stay here if you're looking for the clubs. I enjoyed my nightlife on the roof.
