My room was amazing the staff are always ready to help in anyway they can and the price for a central hotel was amazing yes it had a lot of stairs to get to my room but that is amsterdam. I had a room with a Balcony with an amazing view of the city and a Canal i will be staying here again i would recommend to everyone thanks for amazing stay hope to see you again soon

Overall the stay at this hotel was okay. The place could do with some tlc and could be abit cleaner upon arrival. For some reason there was a bad sewage like smell coming from the bathroom so we had to be moved rooms. Despite a couple of issues staff were polite,understanding and resolved the issues which was good of them. Standard hotel room so no high expectations but a great location very close to central Amsterdam.

TV und Föhn defekt. Badezimmertür lässt sich nicht schließen. Eine 37-stufige Hühnerleiter zum Empfang, die wirklich lebensgefährlich ist und bei der man die Koffer nur unter Hochanstrengung befördert bekommt…richtig schlecht

The photos are nothing like the hotel The tv did not work in the room and could not be sorted during our stay the window did not close properly amd no catch no blind to 1 window as it was ripped and unusable The bathroom smelt of drains and there were rubbish /clothing from previous guests to which reception advised the cleaners will be in the next day , would like to think was cleaned before we arrived but clearly not The staff were friendly but hotel not great

Bedbugs !! Horrible stay! Dont go there...

I knew it was 2 star hotel and wasnt expecting much. The room was actually ok - Until when I went to bed and woke up bitten all over by bedbugs. (see photo) It totally ruined my sleep and my 4 days stay in Holland as I went 48 hours without sleep as a result. The bites were 10x times itchier than a normal mosquito bit left med with discomfort and totally fatiqued for days. The receptionist pretended that the Bed Bugs was news to her but a quick AI search in reviews easily find 25-35 complaints about bedbugs in the hotel. Its been going on for YEARS and I dont understand that Hotel.com still sell this hotel. The manager agreed to give a full refund - but only after I had spend time and energy asking Hotel.com for it. The stairs are the WORST I have ever seen anywhere - including in other old hotels in Amsterdam and other parts of the country. They are rightout DANGEROUS. I have no idea of how people drag a heavy suitcase up or those with medical conditions can use the hotel. The only good thing I can say about the hotel is unfortunately not about the hotel itself - but rather the location. Its close to the central station and Dam Square...but it is NEVER worth wasting a holiday getting bitten and have no sleep. The hotel not dealing with this serious problem for YEARS cause risk that one spread bedbugs to other hotels or bring them home, costing thousands of euros getting rid of them in ones home. you have to treat all your luggage and clothes to be safe.

L'hôtel et corect en général, Réception et accueil bien, tres bien localisé. Chambre fonctionnel, un petit effort sur la propreté et l'entretiens general de la chambre serait a faire! Le tout pour un prix plus que corect.

Rock-hard bed, the room didn't feel clean. Not possible to close the bathroom door and while showering there was a 5cm layer of water in half the bathroom.

rummen har INGENTING med bilderna på nätet att göra. det är väldigt slitet hotell med smala trappor, öppna fönster i hela hotellet troligtvis får att dölja dålig ventilation. sängarna var resårbottnar med hål i på vissa ställe. inga bäddmadrasser, STENhårda. inget vi rekommenderar. kommer aldrig tillbaka!
