This hotel is not good. In person it looks like a painted Motel 6. The rooms are super small brightly colored but dingy. The hallway is dark. There are no blankets on the beds.Only sheets, we had to request blankets. The toilet seat was peeling. The shower is about the size of an airplane bathroom. The rooftop has a decent view. However, it is not decorated as demonstrated in the pictures online. In fact, there were just 2 rusted wrought iron table, set up near the bar and outside on the patio. The furniture was old and stacked.Nothing seems set up for enjoyment. The weirdest thing of all was that the cook came out of the kitchen told me. He thought the menu was expensive and offered to "hook me up" if I had Cash App or Zelle. For me, that was the final straw. We left our a reservation early and went to stay at another property. We were only in the hotel for an hour and I was so afraid the area seem very questionable. With people hanging around outside that did not seem to be of the utmost character. I booked this hotel based on the 5 star. Reviews it received, but when I looked a little deeper at them. The lower start reviews. They were related to crime outside of the hotel, specifically cars being broken into right? Which helped me ultimately decide to leave this property as well. My lyft driver told me it is a bustling area when the university is in session, but other than that, it looks like a scary ghost town.
