Trouble checking in

I originally booked this stay at Hotels.com for myself and 3 kids who needed a night in Casper for a wrestling trip. I later found out my mother wanted to come watch as well. Not having enough room for all of us, I called the hotel. Hotels.com said it was full for that night but the owner said they were o my at 40% capacity. I asked if he could book an additional room for us but for my mother so she can check into that new reservation. He was polite on the phone, he didn’t give me the rate but I didn’t care since we couldn’t cancel and I needed another room for her anyways. When I checked into my room the rate was $40 more than what online said. It took a bit for them to figure out why. They booked my mother, who had already checked in, to my room. I was going to be fine with this because we are family but before we figured out what happened (my mother being checked into my original booking) the owner was very rude to me. He said I was just trying to get a cheaper room and to rip him off. He said he would give me the price I was guaranteed but get my mother back and charge her the higher rate. His lack of ownership in this situation was appalling. He wanted to kick us out of the hotel and then told us it’s up to hotels.com to refund us. Which isn’t true, hotels.com would call the hotel to ask permission for a refund. We ended up staying it was clean and comfortable but I could not ever recommend this place due to the rudeness and lack of ownership of the owner.

Not a good visit.

I’ve occasionally stay here when I come to Casper for the past 10 yrs or more. Back in August 2017 we stayed for a month. The past several years it has been deteriorating. They’ve eliminated the breakfast and do not take care of appliances in the room. The room (207) I had for this stay had a broken dishwasher and a toilet that would run every 5 minutes. The ice machine on our floor was broken and Wi-Fi in my room was off more than on. T Armstrong

Cold showers

The gal that checking me in was wonderful. She was very friendly and super helpful. We were bummed to have to take cold showers. None of us out of 4 got a hot shower or even warm shower - not fun:(

Not great

I will not stay here again. There is clearly some sort of electronic interference happening that made my laptop almost unusable and glitchy (last stay I thought it was my laptop breaking down, after this stay I realize it's the hotel). Additionally, I saw only one employee (over multiple nights and mornings) who was doing her best but I ended up waiting ungreeted for 10 minutes at the front desk as she was checking rooms also.

Plugs that didnt work, a light that didn't work, wind coming through the balcony door, lumpy bed and pillows, stains on the couch and bedspread, and a microwave placed a foot above the kitchen sink, and heater cooked you - or turn it off and freeze.... Not a great stay to say the least.

Price is good and overall it’s fine, but bed bugs

Overall it was fine but we have bedbug bites all over my oldest daughter and I, the pictures are my 11yr old. Room 107, which is a handicap room (we didn’t book a handicap room but it’s the one we were given). Outlet in the bathroom has a ground fault and doesn’t work. Pull out couch cushions were frayed and had some of the ribbing along the edge poking out (cosmetic more than anything).
