This hotel is advertised as a five Star, but the room and its amenities were more basic than 3 star hotel I had stayed the night before. The customer service was nice enough. But 100Euros deposit was asked for the minibar and immediately then from my credit card. The minibar was not used, so the money was rended, not immediately but in two weeks the reception staff said. So this is a money making scam by the hotel, put the money in an interest account and earn something. It will b interesting to see how much money is returned as if the £ is weaker than the euro, apart from the conversion fees, I will lose money. This is completely unnecessary. Moreover, the room was so ho that despite leaving the window open and setting their archaic cooling system to low. I had to sleep on top of the bed. The wifi was there but sporadic. I could not check in for my return flight before going to the airport. In all, the accommodation and room amenities are not that expected of a five star hotel. I will avoid in future and look for a proper 5 star hotel when I travel to Istanbul again, for which I will need 5 rooms. Very disappointing and I am so glad I only booked a room for one night.
