Adriana Hvar Spa - fantastic location!

I am very ambivalent about this review - there were some very excellent things about this hotel - fantastic locations, beautiful rooms, excellent hotel restaurant, friendly & helpful staff... however, there were some not-great issues (i.e. their private beach MUST be booked in advance and beach chairs are 60euro each! I might have made this reservation in advance, if I had ever been alerted to do so. Furthermore, when I inquired about their "private beach" the staff looked at me with distain that I had not reserved well in advance. How dare I attempt to go same-day, apparently. Rude and unnecessary.

Adriana is the best on Hvar

The Adriana staff and service is amazing. From the luggage pickup and delivery at the port to the amazing breakfast and clean suites. Open air bar and indoor pool are great. Would definitely recommend! Coming from a hard rater, nothing negative to report at all.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel. Sea view was beautiful, would definitely recommend paying extra for that. Great spot to sunbathe and swim on the roof top. Staff and service were second to none, as soon as we stepped off the catamaran from Split, they were there to collect our suitcases and transport the 300m to the hotel. Convenient location for seeing the sights of Hvar town. Looking forward to coming back and staying again!

the location was perfect! the staff were generally nice. the hotel restaurant and pool area was lovely however the rooms need an update. we had a crack in the wardrobe door, cracked sink, lights were not working and overall the condition of the interior was quite worn and needed refresh.

Overall the hotel was great. Beautiful view on the terrace and rooftop. Did not receive a room upgrade that was a big negative. Front desk staff was not very friendly. check in was not timely and offered later than the standard 3 PM check in time.

$1500 hotel was Meh

Not sure if this place was worth $1500… the spa & breakfast was great. Beach club amazing. The cons were the weird AC continuously going off. Window latch not locking, and the plumbing in the toilet is weak. Nothing rarely flushed! With the amount of money you drop, they should invest in better quality pillows! Ours were flat and nasty as I stripped the bed sheets and pillow cases so the cleaners don’t have to do it.

A continued theme of our trip to Croatia are the magnificent hotel staffs. The Adrianna hotel staff are magnificent. Tiana, the hotels’s concierge, arrange for a great day trip and useful tips for other locations we were planning to visit. The porters made our transit to and from the distance parking lot easy. Now for some lesser values. The room facing the harbour was small. The one we had (#207) was above the restaurant’s patio and the noise from the patrons did not subside until late in the evening. So we were greatfull for having brought ear plugs. The shower was very nice but did not have a bench of some sort for the ladies needs. It was also designed in a strange way that it shrunk the vanity area. Additionally, it was not private. The toilet had it’s own small room which is nice because it allowed for comfortable use while someone else is using the shower. The towels were not the quality you expect for a room that cost more than $400 per night. They were thin and scratchy. Buffet breakfast was sub par. However, the staff will prepare any style eggs and the latte coffee was very nice. Would I return back to this hotel…absolutely yes if nothing else to be pampered by the staff but I would ask for a room away from the restaurant patio.
