Tim at the front desk was so sweet and extremely helpful. Tim has some of the best guest service I've come across in a long time. Heads up - parking is $40/per night. We stayed in the nicer 1 bedroom loft rooms, they were very muggy and uncomfortable, as far as air qaulity. It was hard to sleep at night being so hot. They need central air in those rooms, or at least fans. If you opened a window or balcony door, it helped, but then you also have to worry about the bugs & seagulls coming in because there's no screens. Other than that, those rooms are nice. I was disappointed to learn there's no TV in the loft bedroom. I got sick for some of our trip & needed to spend a day in bed, having no TV wasn't fun during my bed ridden day. A lot of restaurants and shops nearby this location, it's right near the water, it was great for walking around. We took some family bike rides (which is impossible on Thames st. During the day). There's shops in the hotel on the bottom floor past the lobby door, the hours of operation for everything are a little wonky and unusual. Overall great stay for our family besides sweating non-stop in those nice rooms. Highly recommend 'The red parrot' restaurant across the street to eat at, a ton of menu options, all delicious! As well as 5star service.

SKIP Air BNB & Vrbo and stay here! The one and 2 bedroom townhouse/ condos are awesome! We were 2 couples and had plenty of room to stretch out after walking for brunch and dinner. Leave the car in the lot evening is less than a 15 min walk.

What I didn't like is that that charge for parking $30 a day in Feb. They initially said 1 vehicle per unit ...we rented a unit for 6 people so of course we had 2 cars. They charged us 60.00 for the additional car but when we went to park there weren't any spots so we pd in another lot. I told the front desk that I wanted a refund for the parking ...she then informed me that it was for the 1 vehicle that we parked there. Why don't they just add parking into the price of the room we paid?

I’ve been going and staying at this property for years. It is well located convenient to everything. Staff is good. Hotel does the need an update with furniture carpeting they’ve had the same dining room tables for over 20 years. Building is clean though. I will return once again be nice to have some updates to the interior though

Very beautiful property, I have stayed there in the past with my husband and loved it so much I wanted to take my mother there as well. We got the most amazing townhouse unit with a view over the whole downtown area of Newport and the bay, and the staff was extremely kind and helpful. Paula at the front desk was especially nice and she made our stay as perfect as possible for us. We will definitely be coming back here and recommending this hotel to everyone!

What a cool place! Our second stay here and an even better room. They did a great job converting whatever commercial building it was into a unique hotel. Very convenient to most all Newport has to offer. Highly recommended.

Very nice place. I loved the setup of the room and the amenities it came with. Kitchen, nice bathroom, and spacious living room. Would definitely stay again. Also 1 minute away from Thames street.

It is off season in January but it is a central location with restaurants and shopping nearby. Love it!
