Not like a 4-star hotel
I dont think it is a 4-star hotel because there are not much facilities and service. There is no fridge, no minibar except a bottle of water and juice, no water boiler. When I asked to borrow a water boiler I have to go to the reception to pick it up myself. In my room, the shower doors cannot be closed properly. The checkin time is also too late, even I requested early checkin during booking, I could only get my room after 3pm. I need to pay extra if I want it earlier. Also if I want to checkout later than 12pm, I also have to pay extra. And I dont understand why I need to pay the city tax again eventhough I already paid the tax during booking. The breakfast buffet is just ok but doesnt worth 15euro. The only good thing is that the staff were all very polite and friendly.

Very Clean and Comfortable room
It is a fairly basic hotel and the rooms do not have any view. But if you want a clean comfortable room in a fairly good location then this place is fine. There is a few tourist sites in the Area and also Liquidrom which is the best Sauna/Spa in Berlin. The cleaner was friendly and did a fantastic job with my room. I also love the fact I can open the window and turn the heating on and off. Very comfortable room

Ein paar Minuten vom Chekpoint Charlie entfernt.
Nicht zu weit von U Bahn und eine ruhige Strasse. Zimmer gut gross. Im Zimmer es gibt einer Wasserkochen. Dieses mal habe Ich problemen: mit die Karte zum Zimmer gehen! das war die falsche (schon ein Mann)! Und ein Tag nach die Karte funktioniert nicht mehr! Eines Abends schien des Nachtportier nicht glücklich zu sein, als ich klingelte um hereinzukommen!!!

Bien mais peuvent mieux faire pour ce standing
Séjour d’une semaine dans cet hôtel proche de Check point Charlie. Les chambres sont plutôt spacieuses en fonction de celle que vous avez car nous avons demandé à changer de chambre après la première nuit car les chambres donnant sur la rue sont bruillantes, la second chambre sur cour était plus petite mais beaucoup plus calme, même si on entend les douches des chambres d’à côté. La literie est très bonne et la chambre a une bouilloire avec thé et café par contre ceux-ci ne sont pas remplacés ce qui pour moi n’est pas admissible dans un hôtel de ce standing. Une bouteille d’eau plat est offerte a l’arrivée

Rude staff and ripped off guest
Decent location in Berlin, but got quite a surprise when I checked in. The room was nowhere as large as advertised on Hotels.com or Select Hotels own website. Booked & paid for a superior room but got a smaller. They just added a tea/coffee kettle and called it a superior. The room was smaller and lacked advertised furniture for a superior room. Went down twice and complained, but one of the staff was flexible with truth and stated that the hotel just had one form of room, and the other insisted that I got a superior and finally screamed at me. Staff in reception are unsuitable to hold positions in service. But other staff were better and breakfast was flat out good. Would never stay again due to poor attitude though. And paid for a product that I didn't got.

Good location
Nice and clean room. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom/shower. Only issue was that there must have been a resteraunt or something on the floor above, as I could hear scraping late into the night (despite being on the top floor of the hotel). Location of the hotel was good. Only about 10 mins walk to the nearest u bahn station.
