Immediatley before checking out, I checked my Credit Card and noticed the £50 Authorisation fee against it - all good.
A short time later, I checked it again and noticed a number of pending charges against it totalling £290. This caused my some anxiety and after trying to call your reception front desk several times, I decided to drive back and speak in person.
Although the staff were polite, they could not explain why these charges were being made. The said to call back in 2-3 days to see if there was still an issue.
Fortunately, a wrongly charged breakfast was refunded, and the remainder of the charges disappeared.
Shame I had to chase up and correct the faulty charges
