My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary with a trip to Las Vegas. I had made a note while reserving that we would be celebrating and would like a nice room with a good view. Upon check-in, staff was rather rude and we were not wished a happy anniversary or given instructions on how to reserve an airport shuttle, coupon book, or even directions to where the elevators were. Based on our stay at other Vegas hotels both downtown and on the strip, this was disappointing. We were given a room with a horrible view and bright lights blaring into our window from the spotlights that light the sign above. Very disappointing. On a positive note, the Garden Buffet was excellent. The casino staff were very nice and beverage service was good as well. Bar staff was friendly and the restaurant workers and housekeeping were excellent. We loved the pool area and the prices of drinks in comparison to other hotels. Staff at the pool were gracious and very kind. Overall, we would probably stay here again, but lower our expectations of requesting a room with a nice view.
