Beautiful colonial hotel, friendly staff

The mattresses are not great. Also, the metal steps leading into the pool are broken. Also the light around the bathroom mirror is ineffective.

Great building and staff, room had issues

This was my third stay at the Hotel Morales; the last one was a few years ago. The hotel itself is historical and beautiful, located downtown close to many historical sites. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast daily. All staff in the hotel were excellent. The rooftop pool was nicely renovated and updated, and a nice temperature. The room I was assigned was not in the main building, and it was lacking in several ways; I should have asked for a different room, but I had not really realized the issues until the second day. The room had a terrible smell from the plumbing, the sink and shower drained very poorly, the bed was probably the softest and most worn mattress I've slept on in years, the dresser drawers didn't stay closed. Pros: the a/c worked well and quietly, the desk chair was very comfortable, and the in-room safe easily held everything needed and seemed secure.

Céntrico y conveniente

El hotel tiene un look antiguo pero está bien conservado. Se encuentra muy cerca del centro histórico. Tiene seguridad y bastantes servicios. Sin embargo me decepcionó el restaurante y su servicio en la habitación, muy mala la comida y alto el precio. La habitación era amplia y tenía cafetera. Buena limpieza.

The hotel is beautiful beautiful beautiful The staff is great The breakfast was delicious Definitely will recommend Walking distance from the Guadalajara cathedral The hotel also give us a great service with the pick up and drop off to the airport and recommended an amazing tour guy They took us to tequila and also for pick up and drop off to different places MAXItours Trasportes ejecutivos is the name of the transport that we use and you can even rent them for the day !!!
