Fantastic location compensates for basic apartment

Fantastic location. 1bedroom apartment with kitchen, TV room, bathroom and washing machine. The apartment is large in a secure building on 3rd floor with lift and 2 metal balconies. The facilities are functional but basic, beds are very firm, dining table, only 2 chairs, TV room with very low sofa that is not very comfortable. An extra pillow for the beds and cushions on the sofa would be welcome additions. Local restaurants, supermarket, and Berlin Mall are all close. 5 minutes from Brandenburg Gate, US Embassy, UK Embassy and French Embassy.

The perfect place to stay in Berlin

This place does everything right. I hate apartments with a kitchen where they don't supply a dish cloth to wash dishes, a larger one to dry, dish soap, or a cutting board. Its the little things that can make or break a place. It was also spotlessly clean, excellently maintained and well laid out. Even though i arrived after their checkin cutoff time, the instructions were easy to follow. Bed was comfortable, couch was great to hang out on. And the location was perfect, central and close to so many museums, restaurants amd a huge grocery store. My start there could not have been better!

I thought I'd been diligent in making sure all our accommodations had air conditioning, but these apartments did not. Fortunately, the windows opened and it was cool outside. The apartment itself was large and comfortable. 5-6 minute walk to the u-bahn, which was great! There are also attractions nearby that are a short walk away.

It was a large apartment with a comfy bed and it was lovely and warm. The location was in easy walking distance to the Brandenburg Gate, the Jewish memorial and in the opposite direction the Berlin mall. We did have an issue with our shower drain the first night, we reported it in the morning and by the evening it was fixed. We would stay there again.

The appartement was very spacious. And everything we needed was there. It was well situated. But to enjoy the nightlife you had to walk or travell a bit. Lovely people in the reception willing to help with everything. The greatest downsides were a terrible smell from the draining system in the bathroom (that during our stay could not be fixed, maybe it has now) And it would be lovely to have airco in the apartment in summer, because even in spring it was quite hot already. all things considered we had a lovely time.
