I found this hotel to be very convenient to the beach as well as 5th Ave and all that it has to offer. The hotel and rooms were clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful and great service. The air conditioning was cold and the water was hot. Highly recommend and will book again.

The way this hotel is advertised on Expedia is truly an "Illusion". The hotel is a construction zone in progress. Banging noise in morning and during the day. The rooms are run down and smell of mold. Towels are old and discolored. Hot water for showers only gets luke warm. The pool is located on what looks like an abandoned roof top. Elevator is broken. I understand you get what you pay for but please at least be forthcoming about what we can expect before reserving a room. It's also insulting that the hotel charges $5 for each additional hour for late checkout.

Pretty Good!

Good for what you pay for. Getting this hotel was honestly a pretty good deal seeing as it’s a few steps away from the beach and has all the basic necessities (tbh all we needed was wifi and air conditioning LOL). My only complaints were that the beds aren’t that comfy and it can be noisy at night, but I would just block out the noise with some headphones. The staff are so nice! The cleaning staff were so sweet and great at there jobs. Thank you Elizabeth and Ana for servicing us for those two weeks. Great work!

The property was terribly rundown. At one time it must have been a cute, boutique hotel however no lift, rooms very dated and shabby, the pool area very sad. it did have AC which was great. Electricity went out twice when i was there. Was reasonably priced and i thought a great deal for central playa, now understand why. I bought the breakfast which was served at another property. Toast and coffee was included, all else was additional. I would not stay at this hotel again.

We arrived and they told us there were no blankets in the whole hotel. It was late at night and they simply had NO BLANKETS. The place was SO LOUD that our bed was jumping from the noise of Señor Frogs across the street. They then refused to give us refund. NEVER BOOK THIS ROOM

The hotel doesn’t have a working elevator, and the room we were assigned (in the fifth floor) did not have a working AC unit. The towels and bed sheets are no longer white, and the whole place smells like mold. The condition of this hotel is so poor that we asked the manager to cancel our reservation and proceed to reserve a room in the hotel next door. The manager told us it will be no problem but Expedia was the one that will need to cancel it. Now Expedia is claiming the manager refuses to cancel, so stay away from this place.

There is no restaurant, no room service, breakfast is two blocks away, elevator is used to hold trash, oh and the "POOL" is a 2 ft baby pool, with no waiter and random broken lawn chairs.. Although free music from Senor Frogs that vibrated the building until 3 AM each morning !!! I would love to know how much they are paying people for their reviews. I could have used the money after staff cleaned out our friends safe after one attempt when they did not think anyone was in the room. absolutely horrible. !!!!!

We booked a ride from airport to hotel they were an hour late and wanted to charge the full amount. Every time we would leave the room someone would go in an turn the AC off. Elevator near the room is old and annoying very loud. Then they gave us a “2 hour complimentary stay extra due to our flight leaving later in the evening then they wanted us to use their taxi service to the airport but we had someone already booked…. They got upset and asked us to leave the room. I won’t be staying here again.

Falsely advertised breakfast included. Arranged 2 queen beds and got 1-king &1-fold out. 1 day of 6 had hot water. Elevator was broke down. We were on the 5th floor and both in late late sixties!!! Received clean towels once in 6 days after chasing night desk clerk down. Brolken balcony railings surrounding our 5th floor. Had to ask for minifrig in our room. Trash bins over flowing and trash on ground in areas. But the worst incident was a night clerk told my nephew he could not come up to our room and see his father without giving the clerk 200 pesos. Totally disturbing.

STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!! Even if they offered you to stay there for free! First of all, the sheets were dirty, the towels were ripped, the place is across from Señor Frog which means EXTREMELY LOUD music and DJ yelling from noon to 3 AM EVERYDAY! so kiss your sleeping and resting goodbye. "breakfast included" more like a snack!! this won't even feed a 2 year old. It was an egg with two toasts for one day and that was the most they gave. There are no fruits, nothing for vegetarians or vegans. They cannot even compensate for that.. and you had to go to another building for that luxurious "breakfast". They will charge you more for extra towel, sheet, or even if you "stained" the towel .. the irony! I have never done this, but I have literally left mid way during my stay and paid extra to stay somewhere else. They were not able to refund me the 4 remaining nights I did not stay there for. The only good part is it is steps away from the beach. so are many nearby hotels. Avoid this place or let it ruin your trip!

El lugar no es como se mira en las fotos pero por el presio no ai mucho que exijir es un lugar para pasar 1 noche y al otro dia retirarse no es para vacacionar aparte la alberca es demaciado pequeña solo tiene capasidad para unas 8 personas o menos y el desayuno icluido solo es 1 pan tostado y 1 cafe ojo si bas en taxy no te dejara en la puerta del hotel nesesitas caminar unos 3 minutos con tu equipaje por que no tiene aseso al hotel

⸻ Ideal para quienes buscan fortalecer su sistema inmunológico Qué joya de lugar. Si estás cansado de la monotonía de hoteles limpios y cómodos, este es el cambio que necesitas. Desde que abrimos la puerta, fuimos recibidos por un exquisito aroma entre vinagre y amoniaco —una fragancia tan penetrante que casi podías saborearla. La decoración incluye detalles únicos como moho en el lavamanos y dentro del aire acondicionado, ideal para los amantes del ecosistema bacteriano. Por si fuera poco, tuvimos el privilegio de encontrar cabellos ajenos tanto en el baño como en otras partes de la habitación, un detalle íntimo que claramente busca generar un sentido de comunidad con los huéspedes anteriores. La higiene claramente no es una prioridad, pero sí una experiencia inmersiva. Las sábanas, según prometen, se cambian cada tercer día. En nuestro caso, eso significó pedirlo dos veces —casi forzosamente— hasta que finalmente nos entregaron un juego de sábanas… para que las cambiáramos nosotros mismos. El hotel fomenta la autosuficiencia, sin duda. Y como toque final, el ya famoso “impuesto por sanidad” de aproximadamente 1.5 dólares por día. Una ironía que cobra vida en cada rincón mal ventilado de la habitación. En resumen, una experiencia que desafía los estándares… especialmente los de higiene. Ideal si buscas algo que recordar (y desinfectar) después del check-out.
